This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of ICT-based learning on improving all aspects of the English skills of Elementary School Teacher College students. To achieve that goal, we use an experimental methodology with a pretest and post-test design of two groups, using the cluster random sampling. For this research, there were nine classes of Elementary School Teacher College students who enrolled in the Integrated English course with a total of 311 people as the population. From that population, we took samples consisted of four classes: two classes, consist of 76 people that treated with blended learning, and the other two classes, consisting of 73 people, using conventional learning. In this research, we focus on the skillsets of the English Language they are reading, writing, listening, and speaking. To test students’ ability in the first three skills, we used some form of descriptions, while for the speaking skills, we collected data using observation sheets. SPSS version 20 was used for the analysis of pretest and post-test data using the Manova test and Normalized gain (N-gain). Manova’s result showed that a significant difference in English language skills, which can be concluded that the treatment that combines the Moodle-based e-learning and face-to-face classes has effectively impacted students’ English skills.
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis sisiwa pada materi Menulis Teks Deskripsi melalui model Example Non Example di kelas V SD Negeri 101797 Delitua. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 15 perempuan dan 15 laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan menulis siswa, dan observasi guru dan siswa. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini terdiri dari 2 siklus. Pada hasil post tes siklus I nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 62,63 dengan rentan peningkatan sebanyak 12,29 %. Pada hasil post tes siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 70,27 dengan rentan peningkatan mencapai 7,64% sedangakan observasi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 75,45%, dan pada siklus II sebesar 81,81% artinya terjadi peningkatan sebesar 6,36% dari siklus I hingga siklus II.
This study aims to produce sparkol videoscribe-based animated video learning media, to determine the feasibility of sparkol videoscribe-based animated video learning media and to determine the effectiveness of using Sparkol videoscribe-based animated video learning media on Theme 7 Sub-theme 2 Grade IV Students of SD Negeri 030355 Parratusan. This research and development was carried out using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) with the research subjects being fourth grade students of SD Negeri 030355 Parratusan. The results of this development research are appropriate and effective learning media to use. The final result by a material expert is 95% or in the “Very Eligible” category. Furthermore, the final result from the media expert is 100% included in the "Very feasible" category, then the results obtained from the fourth grade teacher are 97% and are included in the "very Eligible" category and at the time of product testing the average score obtained from students is 94 %. Then based on the results of the pretest and posttest obtained an increase in student learning outcomes with the achievement of KKM. Application of Learning Model Picture and Picture To Improve Reading Skills Student Understanding In English Subject In Class III. The Purpose of this research is to know the improvement of reading comprehension skills of student on English subject with picture ang picture in class III SD Negeri 101772 Tanjung Selamat Model. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles. Subject in the study of student class III-B which amounted to 25 students consisting of 11 male student and 14 female students. Technique of data collection is done by giving test and observation. The results of the first cycle of the test before the average learning value of students 53.62 and in the final test of student learning completeness reached 71.12, while the eng of cycle II reaches the learning mastery level with an average value of 80.72.
