Daun bambu telah terbukti mampu menetralkan limbah cair hasil pertanian maupun limbah cair industry tahu berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya yang pernah dilakukan. Akan tetapi belum diketahui senyawa kimia apa saja yang terkandung di dalam daun bambu sehingga mampu berperan sebagai penetral limbah cair. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa kimia yang terkandung dalam daun bambu segar. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental di laboratorium dengan mengamati beberapa parameter yaitu kandungan Flavonoid, Alkaloid, Saponin, dan Tanin. Hasil uji kuantitatif diperoleh berat Flavonoid untuk sampel daun bambu segar sebesar 5,5744 gram atau 5,57 % berat sampel, Alkaloid sebesar 0,1421 gram atau 2,81 % berat sampel, sedangkan hasil uji kualitatif daun bambu segar positif mengandung Saponin dan Tanin..
However, for use sometime after harvesting, high water levels can trigger damage to seaweed. It is indicated that seaweed is easily damaged in fresh conditions (Pradana et al., 2013). This is caused by high water content, which makes physiological and enzymatic activity high, making it easy to cause mold growth or destruction.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi biomassa berbagai jenis tumbuhan liar sebagai alternatif sumber bahan organik dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tanah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan percobaan di rumah kaca. Penelitian dirancang dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dengan perlakuan A: alang-alang (Imperata cylindrica), B : krinyu (Cromolaena odorata), C : kentawong (Blumea mollis), D : pepeti (Pephrosia spinosa), E : kosta (Acacia sp), F : dui (Acacia pernesiana), G : sengon (Blumea sp). Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan analisis keragaman pada taraf 5% dan diuji lanjut dengan BNJ pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Imperata cylindrica masih memiliki C/N ratio > 20 tetapi Cromolaena odorata, Blumea mollis, Pephrosia spinosa, Acacia sp, Acacia pernesiana, dan Blumea sp telah mencapai kadar C/N ratio < 20, C/P ratio < 200, dan N total akhir kompos meningkat dari N total awal sebelum dekomposisi hal ini menunjukkan biomassa tumbuhan liar tersebut berpotensi sebagai sumber bahan organik.
Abstrak: Penanganan pascapanen padi merupakan upaya sangat strategis dalam rangka mendukung peningkatan produksi padi. Masalah utama yang dihadapi dalam penanganan pascapanen padi adalah tingginya susut (losses) baik secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji besaran susut hasil panen padi tahap (perontokkan, pengeringan, penggilingan) dan mengetahui dampak ekonomi susut hasil panen padi di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Untuk itu telah dilakukan penelitian di Kecamatan Janapria, Kecamatan Praya, dan Kecamatan Pujut Kabupaten Lombok Tengah pada bulan Januari – Februari 2018. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan analisis faktor untuk menganalisis variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap susut hasil padi dab melihat pendapatan petani dalam melihat dampak ekonomi yang diakibatkan oleh susut hasil padi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata besaran susut hasil padi di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah pada tahap perontokkan 0.24 persen, tahap pengeringan 0.07 persen, dan tahap penggilingan 0.60 persen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis faktor dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel pendapatan dan variabel luas lahan yang berpengaruh terhadap susut hasil padi di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Selanjutnya rata-rata kehilangan uang petani di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah sebesar Rp. 126.782 yang berarti bahwa setiap luasan hektar lahan usahatani, rumahtangga tani akan mengalami kerugian fisik berupa kehilangan pendapatan.
