Media utilization technology as supporting learning activities more open. Good learning can be supported from a conducive learning environment as well as the communication link between teachers, students can run well. The learning process will be effective when utilizing the various facilities and infrastructure provided includes utilizing a variety of media study. Ironic when the rapid technological developments, the tendency of the learning process that occurs at this time are mostly conventional learning monotonous so it is not able to explore the potential of students and only pose a stiff learning makes students feel bored during the course of the learning process. To solve the above problems, the teacher should be able to create a state of active learning, creative, effective and fun. The integration of the learning process of students with the teacher's teaching has led to an instructional activities that harmony does not come alone but through the settings using the media as one of support in learning activities, one of the efforts undertaken in this study is the use of media android as a learning medium to increase motivation and reading skills of students in learning Arabic.This study uses a quasi-experimental method with de`esain study is a non-equivalent control group pre-test and post-test design, using two-class as an experimental class and control class. Begins by providing an early test to identify students' mastery of skills. Then implemented learning by using media digital books in the experimental class and ordinary classroom learning control. After learning is completed the final test to identify students 'motivation, improved reading skills and to measure students' reading skills. Then the data obtained were analyzed with statistical analysis.The results showed that the use of digital media android based eBook positive effect on student motivation and positive influence on the improvement of students' reading skills in learning Arabic sub subject Bidayatul Faizin I'rob in high school.
Along with the development of motor vehicle industry technology at this time, the fuel demand is also increasing while the supply is running low. Thus, alternative fuels are needed to meet these energy needs. This study aims to explain the physical and chemical characteristics of a fuel mixture (MF) between palm sap bioethanol with premium fuel. The results showed that the higher the bioethanol concentration of the palm sap, the higher the MF's viscosity, but the lower the heat of the fuel. This decrease is caused by differences in the heating value of the two fuels. The MF's high heat burn value is blue, while the low heat value of the flame is reddish yellow. The results of this study are very important as a basis for the development of bioethanol from palm sap as an environmentally friendly vehicle-fuel substitute material.
Scabies is a highly contagious skin disease in humans and other mammals caused by the parasitic mite sarcoptes scabiei. The main transmission of scabies is from direct physical contact, so scabies is susceptible to spread in a closed environment that is densely populated, such as houses, dormitories, and boarding schools. The location of the training is at Sulaimania Boarding School in Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. The objective to be achieved from the training activities is to increase the knowledge of students at Sulaimania Islamic Boarding School, through the dissemination of knowledge about clean and healthy living behaviors to prevent scabies. The method used in the form of lectures, practice and frequently asked questions. Evaluation of training activities is carried out by distributing questionnaires before and after the activity. The evaluation showed that overall there was an increase approximately 60.34% in students' understanding of the prevention of scabies and healthy and clean living behaviors and the participants benefited from this training.
This research generally aims to develop android-based teaching materials for students with special needs without intellectual barriers. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development was carried out by adopting The Steps of System Approach Model of Educational Research and Development from Borg and Gall. The subjects and respondents in this study were students with special needs, teachers, parents and experts in the fields of learning, media and language. The results showed that digital teaching materials based on android can be developed. The results of expert judgement conducted by learning, media and language experts showed that the teaching materials developed are feasible to be used in learning for students with special needs with an average score of 3.7 that is categorized well. In conclusion, android-based teaching materials for students with special needs without intellectual barriers developed are feasible to use in the learning process.
