Lesões de tuberculose bovina em abatedourosfrigoríficos no Brasil: bibliometriaInjuries of bovine tuberculosis in slaughter-houses in Brazil: bibliometry A B S T R A C TThe objective of this work was to review scientific articles published in journals related to the prevalence of bovine tuberculosis caused by Mycobacterium bovis bacteria in slaughterhouses by means of the research method called bibliometry in the Scielo database. For the research the following keywords were used: "Tuberculosis and prevalence and cattle", "Tuberculosis and cattle", "Tuberculosis and cattle". The search resulted in 40 articles, of which six were selected for discussion because they are related to the prevalence of tuberculosis in Brazil, in addition to demonstrating the most affected lymph nodes. Of the analyzed articles, a total of 1,879,495 animals slaughtered, of which 1,233 (0.065%) presented lesions suggestive of tuberculosis, however, only 28 animals (0.0015%) were confirmed by laboratory tests with growth of M bovis. The most affected lymph nodes were bronchi with 628 of the affected animals (50.93%), followed by mediastinal and parotid (11.19%), retropharyngeal (8.11%), prescapular (8.60%), and the sum of the hepatic, inguinal and sciatic totals were 7.53% of the cases. One of the great problems generated by this disease is the loss to the producers, because discounts occur or even total loss in the carcasses and also in breeding cattle that are in the properties, since once the positive result is confirmed they must be slaughtered without reimbursement, as prescribed in the National Plan for the Control and Eradication of Brucellosis and Tuberculosis.1 .Universidade Paraense 2 . Para a pesquisa, foram utilizadas as seguintes palavras-chave: "Tuberculosis and prevalence and cattle", "Tuberculosis and cattle", "Tuberculose e bovinos".
