Effect of the austenizing conditions on the start of martensitic transformation and on the hardness of ledeburitic steels containing 12 % Cr. Dilatometric examination of the effect of austenizing conditions ( temperature and holding time) on the start of martensitic transformation and hardness carried out on the tool steel types: X 210 Cr 12 containing about 1.9% C, 12.0% Cr and 0.2% Ni, X 165 Cr Mo V containing about 1.7% C, 12.0% Cr, 0.6% Mo, 0.1% V and 0.6% W as well as on a steel containing 3.2% C and 12.0% Cr. Description of a time-temperature exchange relation by means of an austenisation parameter. Calculation of the amount of dissolved carbides in the steel X 210 Cr 12 for different austenizing conditions. Description d'une relation d'echange temps-temperature a l'aide d'un parametre d'austenisation.
