<p><strong>Introduction: </strong>Covid 19 pandemic forces people to limit their activities to prevent the spread of the virus. Covid 19 transmission prevention behaviors that can be done include: washing hands using soap and running water, using masks when leaving the house and doing social distancing. This health behavior based on the integrated behavior model theory is influenced by many factors, including demographic factors, knowledge, past habits, attitudes, norms, environment and media.</p><p><strong>Objective:</strong> For analyze changes in Covid 19 transmission prevention behavior in terms of the integrated behavior model.</p><p>Method: The research method used by survey. A total of 103 respondents in Banyumas obtained by convenience sampling in April to May 2020. Statistical analysis used with frequency distribution.<em></em></p><p><strong>Result:</strong>The data obtained were age dominated in the range of 21-59 years as many as 68 people or around 66%, the majority of high school graduates are 76 people or around 74%, urban areas are 63% and rural are 37%. Handwashing behavior used soap and running water very well reaches 84.5%. The used of masks when leaving the house was 92.2%. The application of social distancing was only 47.6%. Public knowledge about Covid 19 good categories reached 81.5%. Positive attitude as many as 80 people or about 77%. The application of norms/ rules reaches 100%. The availability of supporting facilities is 92%. 75% of media accessibility. Only 10% of the community previously had the habit of washing their hands and wearing masks.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>A person's behavior is influenced by demographic factors, knowledge, attitudes, norms, habits, environment, media. These factors become a unity that influences each other until the creation of new expected behavior.</p>
Introduction: Sexual risk behavior is mostly conducted by adolescents when the puberty started. The motivations underlies such behavior are varied including those related to individual, peers, family, and the environment. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the factors that affect adolescent’s reproductive health behavior.Methods: This study used qualitative method with purposive sampling on high risk and low risk adolescents. Exploration was conducted in accordance with several behavior theories such as Ecological Model of Health Behavior, Problem Behavior Theory and Integrated Behavior Model. Data collection was conducted by in-depth interviews in 2018 at Banyumas District. The results of the interviews were then analyzed by content analysis technique. Results: According to the results of content analysis, we found that reproductive behavior among adolescents was affected by two broad categories of factors namely individual internal factors and external factors. Individual internal factors were including age related risk, self-helplessness, knowledge, attitude, perceived norm, and lifestyle. External factors were determined by negative influence of peers, family, and environment risk. Peers, family, lifestyle and external factors seemed to influence personal values which could act as risk factor or protective factor depending on the nature of those factors involved. Conclusion: This research revealed that reproductive health behavior among adolescents was influenced by multiple factors that interact with one another.Â
AbstrakPeriode pubertas merupakan masa kritis bagi remaja. Perubahan akibat pubertas sering menimbulkan berbagai perilaku maladaptive seperti membolos, membangkang, dan tawuran. Keluarga sebagai lingkungan utama remaja memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk perilaku remaja. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh optimalisasi dukungan keluarga terhadap perilaku adaptif pada usia pubertas. Desain quasi experimental dengan pendekatan pre-post test without control group design. Responden dipilih secara purposive sampling di Rempoah Baturaden. Perilaku adaptif remaja meningkat dari 60% menjadi 97% setelah diberikan perlakuan dukungan keluarga. Kesulitan orang tua dalam memberikan dukungan adalah ketika mengarahkan untuk belajar, menjalin komunikasi terbuka, dan menghadapi emosi remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh optimalisasi dukungan keluarga yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan perilaku adaptif remaja (p value 0.001). Orang tua hendaknya selalu meningkatkan pengetahuan untuk melaksanakan dukungan keluarga kepada anak remaja.Kata kunci: Dukungan, keluarga, perilaku, pubertas, remaja. The effect of Family Support to Enhance the Adaptive Behavior of Adolescent AbstractThe period of puberty is a critical period for adolescents. The consequence of changing puberty is often arise a dis-adaptif behaviour such as a shirker, protester, gang fighter. Family as the primary environment teenager plays an important role in shaping adolescent behavior. The research objective was to identify the influence of family support for adaptive behavior of adolescent puberty. Quasi-experimental design approach without preposttest control group design was applied. Respondents was selected by purposive sampling in Baturaden. Adaptive behavior that increased from 60% to 97% after optimization family support. Difficulties of parents in providing family support when directed to learn, to establish open communication, and teenagers emotional.There is the influence of family support optimization significantly to the increase of adaptive behavior adolescents with p value of 0.001. Parents should always increase their knowledge to implement family support to teenagers.
Adolescents during their puberty will experience many physical and psychological changes that are very fast. Physical changes of puberty teens give effect to changes in psychological and social. Shape changes that accompany puberty include changes in cognitive, moral, emotional, social as a form of self-development of adolescents. Families have an important role to help youth grow and develop normally during puberty. Reality on the ground are still many families that have not been able fully to implement the family support to adolescents undergoing puberty. The purpose of this study to obtain the necessary family support during their teenage puberty. The design study is a qualitative phenomenology. Researchers conducted in-depth interviews of adolescent puberty. Data analysis using Colaizzi method. The first theme is the role of perceived family (support, negative attitudes and rules). The second theme is the expected behaviour of adolescent family (needed, considered, understood, satisfied, given the right to argue, improved communication, allowed to play, directed and controlled). Researchers suggest the formation of adolescent peer counsellor, clinical consultation and promotion family support for adolescent.
Introduction: Puberty as a period of transition from childhood to adulthood and the most difficult stages in human growth and development. Teenagers undergo during puberty will experience many physical and psychological changes that are very fast. The purpose was to explore experience of adolescents during their puberty.Method: Phenomenological method was used for data analysis. Participants are adolescents who are undergoing puberty in Purwokerto by purposive sampling. Data was collected by open ended depth interviews.Result: Researchers found four themes: changes in puberty, adolescent psychological problems, the perceived role of family and family behaviors that adolescents are expected to undergo during puberty. Adolescent girls experience menarche at age 12, while teenage boys have wet dreams at the age of 14 years.Discussion: Changes in the form of adolescent psychosexual fascination with the opposite sex and appearance. Adolescent social change seen with increasing activity with friends and peers. Researchers suggest the formation of peer counselor adolescents, clinical consultation and promotion of adolescent family development tasks.
