O trabalho em plataformas digitais tem crescido em todo o mundo trazendo em seu processo de disseminação muitas discussões e reflexões quanto ao seu modus operandi e rebatimentos para os trabalhadores “parceiros”. Assume-se a hipótese de que a plataformização atualiza o cenário de informalidade, precarização e desigualdade do mercado de trabalho no capitalismo contemporâneo, e é por considerar isso que buscou-se analisar, a partir de um estudo metodológico teórico-bibliográfico, com abordagem exploratória e qualitativa, a ascensão da plataformização e sua relação com a intensificação do trabalho e atualização da precarização do trabalhador considerando a dinâmica do gerenciamento algorítmico realizado pelas plataformas digitais de trabalho. Conclui-se que a dominação e exploração do trabalho neste século encontra terreno fértil no discurso e práticas neoliberais, na atuação despótica dos apps e na inércia Estatal em regular as plataformas e proteger os trabalhadores da exploração e escravidão plataformizada.
