A method is described for the ion-exchange separation on a single column of microgram and sub-microgram amounts of indium from a matrix consisting of gram amounts of cadmium, mercury and tellurium and subsequent measurement of the indium by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. The sensitivity and precision obtained, and the inherent possibility of considerable sample pre-concentration, make the technique suitable for the determination of indium in real Hgo.8Cdo.2Te (CMT) samples.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
