ARTIGO DE REVISÃO Câncer de próstata: prevenção e diagnóstico Prostate Cancer: Prevention and DiagnosisCáncer de próstata: prevención y diagnóstico ResumoObjetivou-se relatar por meio da literatura científica a atuação da enfermagem em relação a prevenção e diagnóstico precoce do câncer de próstata. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura de característica qualitativa. Foram selecionados artigos dos anos de 2015 a 2019, em português, disponíveis na íntegra, que respondessem à pergunta norteadora. Foram utilizadas bases de dados como BDENF, LILACS, MedLine e SciELO. Obteve-se 15 artigos após uma leitura criteriosa. Os principais resultados foram, as dificuldades para realização da detecção precoce e falta de informação. Discute-se a realização de campanhas educativas e de conscientização, os alertas sobre sinais e sintomas, diagnóstico precoce, rastreamento e busca ativa em casos de biópsia positivas. Portanto, a enfermagem deve realizar medidas de educação e promoção de saúde, pois ainda existe uma alta taxa de mortalidade nesses casos de câncer por falta de conhecimento e instrução. Diante disso, é importante demonstrar aos pacientes os sinais e sintomas, fatores de risco, a predisposição à doença e como e quando deve ser realizado esses exames de acordo com histórico e idade.
ARTIGO ORIGINAL Conhecimento de professores do ensino fundamental sobre primeiros socorros na infância Knowledge of elementary school teachers about first aid in childhoodConocimientos de docentes de primaria sobre primeros auxilios en la infancia ResumoObjetivou-se identificar o conhecimento de professores do ensino fundamental quanto aos primeiros socorros na infância. Pesquisa de campo de caráter não experimental, descritivo e exploratório, de abordagem quantitativa. Foi elaborado um questionário com perguntas fechadas, e este foi enviado para a população-alvo no modelo chamado "bola de neve", onde, após identificar o grupo alvo da pesquisa, estes indicarão outros possíveis entrevistados, gerando uma rede de conexão. Verificou-se que os participantes apresentaram conhecimento considerável quanto ao assunto. Alguns participantes declaram participar de palestras anualmente, cursos, aulas online e oficinas. Por outro lado, alguns participantes declararam nunca terem participado de atividade sobre primeiros-socorros. A pesquisa mostrou a necessidade do curso de primeiros-socorros no currículo do ensino superior, visto que as escolas e espaços de recreação infantil precisam ter professores preparados para garantir aos alunos um ambiente seguro. Diante disso, através do Programa Saúde na Escola, a enfermagem pode contribuir com a capacitação desses professores através da educação em saúde.
ARTIGO ORIGINAL Metodologias de ensino na educação a distância em ciências da saúde: formação lato sensuTeaching methodologies in distance education in health sciences: lato sensu training Metodologías de enseñanza en educación a distancia en ciencias de la salud: formación lato sensu ResumoObjetivou-se identificar o papel das metodologias de ensino utilizadas em cursos lato sensu em Educação a Distância nas Ciências da Saúde. Pesquisa qualitativa descritiva. Sujeitos da pesquisa: professores/coordenadores de cursos lato sensu nas áreas da saúde em Educação a Distância. Foram utilizados formulário sobre ferramentas e metodologias de ensino e entrevista semiestruturada. Para análise dos dados foi utilizado o método de análise de conteúdo sob os conceitos da teoria sóciointeracionista de Vygotsky. Os dados levantaram as ferramentas utilizadas nas plataformas de ensino. A análise das entrevistas resultou em quatro categorias. Esses dados mostraram as dificuldades, experiências e expectativas dos professores/coordenadores. A Educação a Distância proporciona expansão e aprofundamento de conhecimento. Existe preocupação quanto a qualidade do ensino, direcionada a necessidade de adequação das metodologias aplicadas ao uso das diferentes ferramentas. A Educação a Distância proporciona ampliação ao acesso à qualificação profissional, consequentemente melhorando a assistência de saúde à população.
Objetivo: A Meta internacional de número 4 de segurança tem por finalidade assegurar cirurgias com local de intervenção, procedimento e paciente corretos. Desta forma, o objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar como esta meta de segurança é aplicada em um hospital militar e o grau de relevância na segurança dos pacientes, sob a perspectiva dos funcionários da instituição. Métodos: Foi realizada uma pesquisa descritivo-exploratória, com abordagem quantitativa e analítica, através de um questionário estruturado preenchido pelos profissionais da instituição sobre os Elementos de Mensuração da meta número 4 de segurança, definidos pela Joint Commission International (JCI). Resultados: No total foram entrevistados 31 profissionais de saúde da instituição, entre enfermeiras (6,40%), técnicos de enfermagem (29,10%) e médicos (64,50%). Observou-se que a Meta é aplicada no hospital conforme proposto pela JCI. Alguns dos elementos de mensuração não são aplicados integralmente ou a todos os pacientes que são submetidos a procedimentos cirúrgicos, entretanto, 96,7% dos profissionais que participaram dos estudos reconhecem a importância da meta 4, considerando sua aplicação indispensável para todos os pacientes cirúrgicos. Conclusões: Este estudo contribui para o planejamento de ações, especialmente na educação continuada, a supervisão permanente dos funcionários e a busca de falhas de forma proativa e não punitiva, objetivando uma cultura solidificada voltada à segurança e a busca pela acreditação hospitalar.
