Neue Fahrzeugtechnologien mit Mikro‐Hybrid‐Konzepten, die über Start‐Stopp‐Funktion und regeneratives Bremsen verfügen, stellen erhöhte Anforderungen an die Blei‐Säure‐Starterbatterie. Die sich während der Start‐Stopp‐Zyklen im Fahrzeug bei Batterien mit flüssigen Elektrolyten einstellende inhomogene Säuredichteverteilung führt zu einer inhomogenen Stromverteilung. Passive Mischelemente zeigen hohe Wirksamkeit beim Ausgleich von Säuredichteunterschieden innerhalb des Elektrolyten. Zur Beurteilung der Wirksamkeit von Mischelementen im Fahrzeugbetrieb wurden weiterentwickelte Blei‐Säure‐Nassbatterien in Fahrzeugen gealtert. Dabei wurden Innenwiderstandsverläufe und Ladezustandsänderungen verfolgt. Die Untersuchung zeigte, dass sich passive Mischelemente für den Einsatz in Fahrzeugen mit Start‐Stopp‐Funktion eignen.
