This study aims to find out what are the difficulties of tutors who hold degrees non-educational in the learning process of study group in Binjai. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with the research subjects were two tutors of learning groups holding non-education bachelor’s degrees in Binjai city which were determined purposively. Data collected by interview, observation and documentation techniques. Collected data is analyzed by steps: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results showed that in the package B learning group learning process in Binjai City, tutors with non-education degrees had many difficulties in the learning process. The conclusion that can be obtained in this study is the difficulties identified are located in: (1) the learning planning process, namely the difficulty in preparing RPP and syllabus. (2) the process of implementing learning, namely difficulties in preliminary activities, core activities (exploration, elaboration, confirmation), closing activities, and (3) assessment of learning outcomes.
This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design that aims to determine differences in students' learning ability by using andragogy approach and learning by pedagogy approach. Population in this study all students Department of PLS NIM 2015. Sampling is done randomly after given treatment In each class. Data collected through documentation, test, and observation method. Based on the result of t test on pre-test, it was known that the average value obtained by the students in the experimental group is 75.23, which means higher than the average value in the control group that is 72.50. In t test we got tcount = -2,688; Whereas ttable, namely tdf = 29; ∝= 0,05 = 2.04. This means that tcount > tdf = 29; ∝= 0.05. So the pre-test is quite different although less significant. In the post test, it can be seen that the average value of students in the experimental group is 89.50 higher than the average score of the students in the control group is 77.00. In t test we got statistical value tcount = -10.012; Whereas ttable, namely tdf = 29; ∝ = 0.05 = 2.04; Which means that tcount> tdf = 29; ∝ = 0.05. So, the two average values are significantly different significantly. Based on the results of statistical tests it is known that: (1) the learning results seen from the average score of student exam results in following the learning by using andragogy approach significantly higher than the students who Follow the learning by using Pedagogical approach, (2) there is improvement of numeracy ability and data processing of student which can be seen from study result and average value in student group that follow learning by using approach of andragogy higher than student group that follow learning by using approach Pedagogy. The Stengthening of Character Education Program is one program that can anticipate the rapid development of technology and information in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. One of the spearheads of the formation of children's character is parenting parents towards children, in the initial analysis that we have done we see the problem of character degradation in teenage in Padang Masiang Barus Village due to parenting parents who are less concerned with their children, they tend to give more freedom. This study aims to determine how much influence the permissive parenting parents have on the degradation of adolescent characters aged 10-18 years. This research used a quantitative descriptive with correlational design. Based on data processing with simple linear regression the linear regression equation is Y = 11.49 + 0.961x. The results of hypothesis testing with t test obtained value (3.08)> (1.688). This means that there is the influence of parental permissive parenting on the degradation of teenage characters in Padang Masiang Barus Tapanuli Tenggah Sub-District.
This study aims to explore and validate the lecturer competency model framework in managing case-based learning and project-based learning. After the lecturer competency model in case-based learning and project-based learning has been validated, it will then be applied as an effort to increase lecturer competence in carrying out this learning. Exploration and validation was carried out using the Delphi method which explored panelists' agreement on a set of competency indicators developed by researchers based on lecturer generic competencies from various literatures. The instrument used is a list of statements containing a list of competency indicators which include four domains, namely planning or preparation for learning, learning environment, instruction in learning, professional responsibility. The panelists in this study consisted of 5 case method and project based learning experts who were determined based on their experience, research and scientific publications, 10 subject lecturers who usually organize case method and project based learning, and 15 students who often receive learning case method and project based learning. Then the panelists gave an assessment of the list of competencies provided. The research results for this competency model narrow down to 3 aspects namely HR Readiness, Learning Process, Assignment and Evaluation of Learning Outcomes. The total number of valid items is 50 with reliability based on the results of calculations using the Alpha formula, it is obtained that r_11 = 0.919
