Faz parte da cultura popular brasileira a utilização de plantas com fins medicinais. Entretanto, se não forem utilizadas corretamente, podem ter efeito contrário. Também existe outro grupo de plantas que os brasileiros gostam de ter em casa, as ornamentais, que muitas delas produzem princípios ativos tóxicos. Dentro deste contexto, este estudo teve por finalidade investigar as concepções prévias dos estudantes de ensino fundamental de duas escolas públicas do município de Uruguaiana – RS acerca das plantas medicinais e tóxicas. Aplicaram-se algumas questões abertas aos estudantes e as respostas foram categorizadas por meio da análise de conteúdo. Os resultados demonstraram que os estudantes possuem um conhecimento antropocêntrico em relação às plantas, sendo o grupo das plantas medicinais que podem fazer bem ao ser humano e as plantas tóxicas com efeito contrário. Nenhum estudante relatou o efeito nocivo que as plantas consideradas medicinais podem ocasionar dependendo da dosagem administrada. Poucos estudantes relataram terem estudado sobre este grupo de vegetais na escola. Conclui-se que é relevante abordar este tema em sala de aula, pelo seu caráter e relevância social, bem como para contextualizar os saberes escolares com assuntos relacionados à realidade dos estudantes auxiliando-os na reconstrução dos seus conhecimentos.
Esta investigación objetivó analizar los artículos que citan el PISA y abordan la realidad brasileña. En este sentido, este estudio cuestiona de qué forma los artículos brasileños han sido influenciados por el PISA. Para ello, desarrollamos una investigación del tipo estado del arte, utilizando los términos PISA y OECD para la búsqueda de artículos indexados en la base de datos del Portal de Periódicos de la CAPES. Se seleccionaron sólo los estudios en portugués y se dirigió a la realidad brasileña, lo que resulta en 31 publicaciones. Los resultados demostraron que el primer artículo publicado abordando el PISA fue en el año 2006, ocurriendo un aumento de la producción vinculada a esta temática a lo largo de los años, en especial, a partir de 2012. Creemos que este crecimiento es mucho debido a las encuestas en el área de Enseñanza de Matemáticas. El PISA ha producido un fuerte impacto en las políticas públicas educativas y en las investigaciones a nivel mundial, tendencia que llega ahora al contexto brasileño. Los resultados sugieren que el constante aumento en las producciones que involucran al PISA en Brasil están siendo influenciados por la performance de los alumnos en esta evaluación, principalmente en el intento de una mejora de este desempeño.
RESUMOO trabalho docente está atrelado a vários fatores, entre eles, às concepções que os professores possuem e que acabam por refletir na sala de aula. Em função disso, se torna relevante investigar este conhecimento para entender e guiar as práticas pedagógicas. Neste sentido, este trabalho teve como finalidade analisar as concepções de professores de Ciências da rede municipal de educação da cidade de Uruguaiana -RS sobre os objetivos do ensino de ciências e como deve ser sua abordagem em sala de aula. Para este estudo foi aplicado um questionário para as professoras de Ciências desta rede de ensino. Os dados foram analisados a partir da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD), onde verificamos que os relatos das professoras estavam em consonância com os documentos oficiais de educação do Brasil e com a compreensão de ensino de ciências da contemporaneidade abordado nas pesquisas da área de Educação em Ciências. A partir dos resultados deste estudo podemos refletir em que direção seguir para auxiliar na melhoria dos processos educacionais dentro do ensino de ciências.Palavras-chave: Ensino de Ciências. A formação inicial de professores, no âmbito do ensino superior, tem sido muito debatida entre os pesquisadores e um dos aspectos que necessitava ser repensado era como romper com a dicotomia entre a área específica e a área pedagógica nas licenciaturas. Este trabalho visa averiguar, qualitativamente, a evolução da elaboração de planos de aulas voltados ao desenvolvimento de experimentos investigativos, produzidos por acadêmicos do curso de licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas, do Instituto Federal Farroupilha - Campus São Vicente do Sul (IFFar - SVS). Os mesmos construíram 3 planos de aulas, no decorrer da disciplina de Prática enquanto Componente Curricular V (PeCCV), a qual foi organizada a partir dos Três Momentos Pedagógicos (3MP). Os dados foram analisados a partir da Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin (2011). A partir desta análise, observamos a dificuldade dos licenciandos em ultrapassar as barreiras do ensino tradicional, pois ainda concebiam a necessidade de, primeiramente, explicar o conteúdo científico e, na sequência, realizar a parte experimental. Além disso, os acadêmicos apresentaram dificuldades para determinar o “problema” a ser investigado nos experimentos e permitir aos alunos fictícios um espaço para eles elaborarem hipóteses sobre a problemática, de modo que tivessem maior autonomia nas atividades propostas e o professor assumisse a figura de mediador no processo de ensino e aprendizagem de seus educandos. Por fim, constatamos a importância das PeCCs como um espaço de ensino e aprendizagem sobre a docência, onde os acadêmicos possam experienciar e refletir sobre sua prática, bem como sobre diferentes metodologias, estratégias, recursos e abordagens de ensino, como o Ensino por Investigação, explorando o que os constitui como professores
