Objetivou-se conhecer a percepção da mãe sobre a alta hospitalar e o cuidado do recém-nascido prematuro no domicílio após a primeira semana de alta. Pesquisa descritiva, de abordagem qualitativa, com uso da entrevista semiestruturada para coleta de dados, desenvolvida no ambulatório de seguimento do prematuro (follow-up) do Hospital da Rede Pública Estadual de Fortaleza, em outubro e novembro de 2011. As participantes foram nove mães de recém-nascido prematuro após primeira semana de alta. Aplicou-se análise do conteúdo. Os resultados apontaram para as categorias: Orientações sobre o cuidado com o prematuro durante a alta hospitalar; Sentimentos e dificuldades com a chegada do bebê no domicílio; e Apoio familiar no cuidado do prematuro. O estudo evidenciou que algumas mães não receberam orientações da equipe multiprofissional da neonatologia acerca do cuidado bebê após alta hospitalar, reforçando que elas levam o bebê para o domicílio sem estar preparadas para a nova realidade.
RESUMoBuscou-se conhecer os espectros de mães de prematuros acerca da vivência em cír-culo de cultura de caráter educativo e identificar o aprendizado proporcionado pelo círculo de cultura acerca dos cuidados com recém-nascido após alta hospitalar. Realizou-se estudo descritivo, em um hospital situado em Fortaleza-CE-Brasil. Foram realizadas três círculo de cultura com 17 mães de recém-nascido pré-termo. A interpretação do corpus foi realizada por meio da análise temática. Emergiram-se as categorias: Vivência materna em círculo de cultura; Apoio social promovido entre as mães por meio do círculo de cultura; e Aprendizado proporcionado no círculo de cultura. A capacitação dos pais durante o período de internação do filho deve ser realizada de modo a inserir os pais nos cuidados com o recém-nascido, proporcionar momentos de educação em saúde, ocasiões de apoio e diálogo entre os profissionais e a família. dESCRiToRES Terapia Intensiva Neonatal Educação em Saúde Enfermagem Neonatal AbSTRACTWe sought to know the spectra of mothers of premature children regarding their experience with circle of culture of educational character and identifying the learning provided by the circle of culture about newborn care after hospital discharge. It was concluded that teaching parents during the hospitalization of the child should be held in a way to involve parents in the care of the newborn, provide moments of health education, opportunities for support and dialogue between professionals and family. RESUMENBuscamos conocer los espectros de las madres de niños prematuros con respecto a su experiencia con el círculo de la cultura de carácter educativo e identificar el aprendizaje proporcionado por el círculo de la cultura sobre el cuidado del recién nacido tras el alta hospitalaria. Un estudio descriptivo se realizó en un hospital ubicado en Fortaleza, Brasil. Se realizaron tres reuniones de un círculo de la cultura con 17 madres de prematuros recién nacidos. La interpretación del corpus se ha realizado mediante el análisis temático. Surgido de las categorías: Experiencia materna en un círculo de la cultura; Promovido el apoyo social entre las madres a través del círculo de la cultura; y El aprendizaje proporcionado por el círculo de la cultura. La enseñan-za de los padres durante la hospitalización del niño debe ser recluido en una forma de involucrar a los padres en el cuidado del recién nacido, proporcionar momentos de educación para la salud, las oportunidades para el apoyo y el diálogo entre los profesionales y familiares.
Descriptive qualitative study aimed to understand the experience of mothers in the care of type 1 diabetic children in a unit of Tertiary Reference in Diabetes, located in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 12 mothers of diabetic children, aged 3-12 years. The results were analyzed using the techniques of thematic analysis of Bardin, with these highlighted categories: multiple feeling generated in the impact of the diagnosis; mother facing the competitiveness of affection among the children, the experience of the mother in the expansion of the locus daily care. Conclusion: the disease affects the whole family, and the burden of care falls on the mother in all aspects of the disease, professional support is necessary, once the assistance provided by the mother goes beyond the diabetic child care related to metabolic control.
The objective was to analyze the perceptions of primiparae on the guidance received in prenatal care regarding breastfeeding. Qualitative descriptive study, whose data collection happened, the period March-May 2010, through semi-structured interviews with 10 primiparae admitted to the rooming unit of a hospital in Fortaleza-CE, Brazil. For data analysis we used the content analysis, emerging the following categories: Guidelines on pre-natal care; Importance of breastfeeding; and Breast care and problems. We identified that prenatal consultation is a way to monitor the mother during pregnancy, as well as being a time to educate them about the several changes and consequences that occur during pregnancy. We concluded that mothers have a satisfactory awareness of the importance of prenatal care; however we observed a superficial knowledge apprehended in prenatal care regarding breastfeeding.
