Objective. Analysis of the role of social support in ensuring the subjective well-being of students. Background. Subjective well-being is an integral experience of physical, psychological, and social health. Social support as an important resource of subjective well-being of young people has not yet received comprehensive coverage. Study design. We studied the differences between students with high and low levels of subjective well-being in terms of attitude to social support and readiness to apply for it. Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and comparative analysis were used for data processing. Participants. The study involved 850 respondents. The sample includes students of different courses and faculties of universities in Saint Petersburg and Novosibirsk. Measurements. To collect empirical data, Russian-language versions of the following methods were used: 1) Multidimensional Scale of Perception of Social support — MSPSS by D. Zimet; 2) The Multidi-mensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MHC-SF) — screening version of the test by C. Keyes to assess subjective well-being; 3) The General Help Seeking Questionnaire (GHSQ). Results. Students are more willing to seek help from people in their immediate environment (romantic partners, friends, parents, relatives) than from specialists (psychologists, doctors, religious figures). There are significant differences between students with high and low levels of subjective well-being in terms of intent to search for different types of social support. Conclusions. There is a large gap in students’ perception of the effectiveness of informal types of support (from family, friends, relatives, significant persons) and formal, professional types of support (psychologists, doctors, helpline). Informal types of support enjoy a degree of trust higher than that of professional types of support. That is why it is necessary to organize and improve the student assistance service at higher educational institutions

The urgency of the problem is caused by the fact that the creation of innovation and innovation environment in all sectors of the economy and people's lives puts forward special demands to each individual, the society in general and the quality of education and skills of personnel. The paper describes the results of the study of the hierarchy of values, personality traits according to Cattell and the locus of control among students with a high level of innovativeness. As an approach to the evaluation of innovativeness, the concept of M. Kirton was used. As a result of the research, it was revealed that individuals with high innovative activity are characterized by the internal locus of control and a set of basic values that differs from the set of basic values of a creative personality and it represents by itself a combination of such values as independence, stimulation, hedonism and power.

В статье раскрываются возможности типологического подхода в определении психологического содержания понятия «эпистемологический стиль». Приведено обоснование ценности субъектного подхода в изучении проблемы познавательных стилей и, в частности, в использовании типологии субъект-объектных ориентаций в исследовании содержательных компонентов эпистемологических стилей. В результате теоретического анализа выявлены сходные типологии личности, отражающие психологическую реальность, которую можно описать через понятие «эпистемологический стиль». Библиогр. 34 назв. The prevalence of depressive disorders indicates the relevance of studying the factors of their formation and course, including in cognition process features and regulation. The aim of the study was to study the differences in the severity of the metacognitive experience (mental structures allowing for involuntary and voluntary regulation of intellectual activity) components of in people with symptoms of depression compared with people without symptoms of depression. Sample: 84 individuals aged 19 to 60 years (M = 25,3; SD = 6,6). Methods: self-rating depression scale by W. Zung (adaptation by T.I. Balashova), a short version of the questionnaire of metacognitive beliefs (MSQ30, adaptation by N.A. Sirota, etc.), differential reflexivity test by D.A. Leont’ev, LaCosta metacognitive behavior self-assessment scale (adaptation by A.V. Karpov). Results. The persons with symptoms of depression expressed introspection (immersion in self-observation) (p ≤ 0,001) and quasi-reflection (going into extraneous thoughts not directly related to life here and now) (p ≤ 0,05), as well as a high frequency of the use of metacognitive beliefs: opinion in the uncontrollability of their negative state (p ≤ 0,001), the need to monitor their thoughts (p ≤ 0,001), self-assessment of their cognitive functions as not working adequately (p ≤ 0,001). The resulting correlations of introspection with a range of metacognitive strategies (conscious decision-making, mental modelling — predicting the consequences of decisions made and building mental models of their knowledge in verbal or figurative form) and dysfunctional metacognitive beliefs (belief in uncontrollable anxiety, cognitive failure) are considered as potential risk factors for depressive disorder, its resistance and instability in remission.

Аннотация. В статье представлены результаты анализа отношения к жизни китайских и российских студентов на основе их рисунков. Использована рисуночная методика «Нарисуй свою жизнь» с последующей интерпретацией на основе выделенных и верифицированных З.В. Султановой параметров. Основаниями для дифференциации типов рисунков служат целостность рисунка и содержание образа. В исследовании приняли участие китайские студенты 1 и 4 курса Хэнаньского университета (г. Хэнань, КНР), а также китайские и российские студенты 1 и 4 курса РГПУ им. А.И. Герцена (г. Санкт-Петербург, Россия). Объем каждой выборки 120 человек, 50 % мужчин и 50 % женщин. У всех студентов цельные рисунки преобладают над дискретными, что означает достаточно высокий уровень их субъектной активности. При этом цельных рисунков больше у российских студентов, а дискретных -у китайских. Китайские студенты также чаще рисуют «человека деятельного» и абстрактно-символические картины. Российские студенты чаще изображают семейные портреты, животных и дом на природе. Рисунки российских и китайских студентов отражают как психологические закономерности представлений о себе и своем месте в мире, так и культурноспецифичные особенности восприятия жизни и отношения к ней в разных ее аспектах. В целом, рисунки отражают более «объектно-ориентированную» жизненную позицию китайских студентов по сравнению с российскими студентами, более «субъектно-ориентированными», что помимо этнокультурной специфики характеризует трудности социально-психологической адаптации китайских студентов к учебе и жизни в инокультурной среде.Ключевые слова: отношение к жизни, китайские и российские студенты, обучение в России, невербальные методы исследования, рисование собственной жизни, проявление потенциала субъектности, этнокультурная специфика, представления о себе и своем месте в мире.
