Показана можливість використання поздовжнього вигину як економічного способу безрівчакового профілювання заготовок. Для реалізації даного способу запропонована технологія спареного штампування поковок рим-болтів і розроблена компоновка штампового інструменту. The paper improves the calculation methodology of metal temperature loss during hot rolling process at continuous mills. The proposed methodology can be implemented at hot strip mills with various in-line equipment arrangements within the temperature ranges appropriate for processes simulation of hot rolling, normalized rolling and Thermo-Mechanical Control Process of carbon and microalloyed steels. It provides engineering analysis of unaccounted temperature losses of feed by means of radiation and convection, which, in the first time, through the time factor, additionally accounts for strip motion speed factors, roller table length and feed length, and also length of rolls contact arc with metal. The accountability of the above mentioned factors in the various compositions depending on the rolling method increases the engineering simulation accuracy, ensures the versatility of the elaborated method with respect to different types of mills and makes the scientific novelty of the study. The equations were developed to calculate the metal temperature loss while coiling at the CoilBox unit. The equations accounts for the influence on the temperature of strip length, coiling and uncoiling speed, strip thickness, inside radius of the reeling coil, the time the feed rests being coiled. The improved model was verified based on actual data.

Abstract. The design of the elastic ring compensator of «press-and-die" system errors, the method and software for calculating its geometric parameters are given in the article. The developed method is based on the account of unevenness of the radial and altitudinal deformation (barrel-type shape) of the elastic working element made of polyurethane. A specific example of computer implementation of the developed mathematical model for calculating the sizes of such a compensator for steel-forming operations on an open-crank press is made. Approbation of the compensator was carried out in industrial conditions.

The effect of quenching from 900°C (20 min exposure) and different tempering in the 250-650°C (for 1 hour) interval, as well as additionally preliminary carburization for 8 hours at 930°C, followed by a similar heat treatment on abrasive and shock-abrasive wear of low-carbon manganese (10-24%Mn) steels, phase composition and mechanical properties was studied. It was confirmed that an increase in the manganese reduces the abrasive wear resistance and increases the impact-abrasive wear resistance. The expediency of carburization of low-carbon manganese steels is shown in order to obtain the residual austenite in the structure which amount and stability must be optimized in relation to specific abrasive impact characterized by the dynamic ratio with taking into account the chemical composition.
