STMIK Hang Tuah Pekanbaru memiliki data akademik mahasiswa yaitu data Indeks Prestasi Komulatif (IPK), data identitas mahasiswa dan data Dosen. Data-data ini belum dimanfaatkan secara mendalam dan luas karena selama ini data-data tersebut masih digunakan hanya sebatas informasi saja. Data yang akan diproses dalam penelitian ini adalah bersumber dari data yang tersedia dan data penyebaran kuesioner . Data yang disebarkan melalui kuesioner terdiri dari 5 variabel yaitu adalah data yang terkait dengan peran dosen, motivasi, kedisiplinan, sosial ekonomi, dan hasil belajar masa lalu. Metode data mining yang digunakan adalah metode klasifikasi dengan algoritma C4.5. Algoritma ini dapat membentuk pohon keputusan yang menjadi alat dalam mendukung keputusan untuk memprediksi prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa variabel nilai rapor (hasil belajar masa lalu) menjadi node awal artinya dari 5 variabel yang menetukan prestasi akademik mahasiswa maka nilai rapor menjadi node yang terpilih sebagai penentu pertama terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa.
Blood Transfusion Unit PMI Pekanbaru City is part of a company or agency that serves blood donation, every blood bag obtained from the community voluntarily come to PMI to donate blood with the goal of humanity. In Blood Transfusion Unit PMI Pekanbaru City, has provisions to be blood donors that must be met in order to donate blood in UTD PMI Pekanbaru City. Data Mining is a combination of a number of computer science disciplines that are defined as the process of discovering new patterns from massive data sets. By using RapidMiner software and using the method of Decision Tree Algorithm C4.5 to determine the eligibility of blood donors based on Age, Weight, Hemoglobin, and Blood Pressure. In the study of hemoglobin is the most decisive variable in blood donors. And the result accuracy is 94.02% which means the accuracy of this model is very good.
Abstract Data mining is the process of analyzing data to find a pattern of hidden data collection by utilizing library visit data, can dig up information about what books are often borrowed by visitors and the relationship between each borrower to be able to compile and layout books. To be able to place books in accordance with the needs of members, it is necessary to process a data processing of book borrowing using the Associtation Rule method so that support and confidence can be found between books that are often borrowed so that patterns can be identified. The research data were obtained from book lending data at the Hang Tuah Pekanbaru STIKes Library. In processing the data using the Rapidminer software with the Association Rule method with support = 0.6 and confidence = 0.9. The resulting rule to be used as a book placement pattern consists of 7 patterns / rules. Keywords : Data Mining, Library, Association Rule. Abstrak Data mining merupakan proses analisa data untuk menemukan suatu pola dari kumpulan data yang tersembunyi dengan memanfaatkan data kunjungan perpustakaan, dapat menggali informasi tentang buku-buku apa yang sering dipinjam oleh pengunjung dan keterkaitan antar masing-masing peminjam hingga dapat melakukan penyusunan dan tata letak buku. Untuk dapat melakukan penempatan buku sesuai dengan kebutuhan anggota perlu dilakukan suatu proses pengolahan data peminjaman buku dengan menggunakan metode Associtation Rule agar dapat diketahui support dan confidence antara buku-buku yang sering di pinjam sehingga dapat diketahui pola penempatan buku. Data penelitian diperoleh dari data peminjaman buku di Perpustakaan STIKes Hang Tuah Pekanbaru. Dalam pengolahan data nya menggunakan software Rapidminer dengan metode Association Rule dengan nilai support = 0.6 dan confidence = 0,9. Rule yang dihasilkan untuk dijadikan pola penempatan buku terdiri dari 7 pola/rule. Kata Kunci : Data Mining, perpustakaan, Assocition Rule

With the development of technology, it is necessary to have an automation system in using the gate portal so that the gate portal can be used more optimally. In designing an automatic gate portal using Arduino as the main controller for the gate portal, Arduino will send commands to the DC motor to open or close the gate portal with an RFID card as the opening of the portal and an infrared sensor as a portal cover, as a fingerprint detection sensor and Arduino as a controlling medium control data input processor. From the test results, the portal will be closed when the vehicle passes through the infrared sensor at a certain distance.
