Higher Education Institutions play a key role in building more sustainable societies and creating new paradigms. As educational institutions, they are responsible for promoting sustainability issues through research and teaching, disseminating new knowledge and building capabilities. However the ill-defined nature of sustainability manifests have focused on the reasoning for why sustainable development needs broad adoption, but not on the clear sustainability evidences analysis. Firstly this paper shortly discusses the importance of Universities roles in meeting sustainability challenges. Secondly this paper explores the research results based on Lithuanian higher education institutions World Wide Web communication channel to demonstrate how close or far they are to the sustainable development approach.
Purpose -The study aims to explore the experiences of nursing personnel in private health care organizations in Lithuania, in terms of their work motivation and satisfaction, promotion and quitting the job, interpersonal interaction at work and to identify areas for sustainable improvement to the health care services they provide. Design/methodology/approach -The research problem includes the following questions. What is the attitude of nursing personnel to the existing elements of motivation in private health care organizations? What organizational tools should be developed in order to improve the motivation of nursing personnel? The sample consists of 237 registered nurses practitioners and 30 nurses' managers working in private health care sector. Methods: data selection: questioning survey; data analysis: descriptive statistics, correlation and factor analysis (using SPSS for Windows 12.0). The research instrument involves 99 closed-ended items divided into 11 evaluation blocks; Cronbach a of every part ranges from 0.68 to 0.85. Findings -Results showed no statistical differences among nurse practitioners and executives of what motivates them in private health care organization as workplace and illuminated factors that decrease and increase motivation among nurses. Motivation decreases, when nurses are not empowered not autonomous in activity; nurses' competencies (specific professional and general) are not applied in full value, e.g. managerial, educational, social-psychological, clinical/expertise; decisions are not made collectively; in organization does not exist mechanism of information-sharing; meetings of personnel are not prepared methodically. Motivation increases when the nurses collaborate with physicians by parity; nursing profession is respected and recognized as autonomous and valued by themselves and other health care specialists; the interpersonal communication is effective and conflicts are solved constructively. Research limitations/implications -A major weakness is that the characteristics of the present sample may limit the generalizability of the results. The major implication is that the paper supports the prediction for characteristics of motivation among health care workers in private health care organizations with perspective of nursing personnel. Originality/value -The paper examines in a private health care sector the factors that increase and/or decrease the motivation of nursing personnel.

Purpose: The main purpose of this paper is to focus on the quality costs influence direction and intensity on the added value in the aspect of value chain.

Methodology/Approach: The article is based on a nomothetic point of view that includes three modules: conceptual, hypothetical – deductive and inductive methods. To formulate theoretical aspects of quality costs evaluation, comparative and chronological analysis of scientific literature is used. Empirical results of the research are obtained by applying method of expert evaluation.

Findings: During expert evaluation procedure is identified and selected significant quality costs elements. It is a useful tool to identify quality costs thought value chain processes. Created model of quality costs assessment in the aspect of value added chain is based on identification and classification of quality costs elements and allows to measure and to evaluate influence of quality costs,
its direction and intensity on the added value.

Research Limitation/implication: The formulated model of quality costs assessment in the aspect of value added chain is assigned to the models that “are oriented towards the situation”, i.e. diverted towards organizational analyses.

Originality/Value of paper: The paper complements the gap between theoretical and practical framework of determining influence of quality costs on added value and proves importance of the assessment of quality costs elements in the aspect of added value chain.

Undeniably sustainable development issues became mostly discussed issues in higher education field. Universities declare their commitment to sustainable development. Concurrently they take part in transparency actions for sustainable society's development and dissemination of particular outcomes (what has been done) in order to engage multiple stakeholders. However rapid grow of innovative technologies importance in universities' daily life usually does not act as sustainability information dissemination channel. Considering to this problem, paper examines which internet resources are used by universities to disseminate sustainability issues and what kind of information is presented on it. To analyze raised questions authors adapted Capriotti and Moreno (2007) tool, which was tested with Lithuanian universities official internet sources. Research findings show that universities websites perform mainly static function, focusing on the content of presentation without possibilities to move on dialogue with multiple stakeholders.
