ResumenEn el estudio que originó este artículo se elaboró una propuesta de mejora del sistema de inventarios para una comercializadora de alimentos en la ciudad de Santa Marta, a fin de lograr una reducción en los costos de inventario y un incremento en el beneficio económico de la organización, mediante la planificación y control de las compras y ventas de los productos. El proceso aplicado consiste en la clasificación de los productos manejados por la empresa con el método ABC, de acuerdo con la importancia de cada producto en el total de ventas de la distribuidora; posteriormente se aplicó el modelo de Cantidad Económica de Pedido -EOQ-, con el fin de sistematizar los conteos periódicos en los productos guardados en bodega, establecer los registros de las ventas realizadas, determinar la cantidad óptima de pedidos y el momento justo en el cual se debe pedir mercancía a los proveedores y las cantidades mínimas de reorden.
Inventory control model for economic order in food marketer
AbstractIn this study a proposal to improve the inventory system for a distributor of food in the city of Santa Marta is made, in order to achieve a reduction in inventory costs and increased economic benefit of the organization, through planning and control of purchases and sales of products. The process used is the classification of the products handled by the company with the ABC method according to importance of each product in the total sales of the distributor; then the model of Economic Order Quantity applies -CEP the right time, in order to systematize the newspapers counts on products stored in the warehouse, establishing records of sales, determine the optimum amount of orders, in which to order merchandise suppliers and minimum reorder quantities.
En el presente artículo de investigación se realizó un estudio de eficiencia delas instituciones de educación superior (IES) públicas de Colombia durante elaño 2011, mediante la metodología de análisis envolvente de datos utilizandoel modelo de Charnes, Cooper y Rhodes (CCR), el modelo de Banker, Charnesy Cooper (BCC) y el modelo basado en holguras Slack Based Measure (SBM),orientados a salidas para determinar las eficiencias técnica, puramente técnica, deescala y de mezcla, respectivamente. La información con la que se llevó a cabo lainvestigación se tomó de las bases de datos del Ministerio de Educación Nacionalde Colombia. En el análisis de resultados se determinó la magnitud en que debenser mejorados los productos de las IES ineficientes y se identificó la posiblecausa de esta ineficiencia. Así mismo se realizó una clasificación (ranking) delas universidades mediante el modelo de súper-eficiencia no radial súper SBM.
El presente artículo, presenta los resultados del proyecto de investigación financiado por el Fondo Patrimonial Parala Investigación de la Universidad del Magdalena - FONCIENCIAS, cuyo título se refiere a la “Formulación de lacadena logística de residuos sólidos de la industria de tajadas de plátano para la exportación en el departamentodel Magdalena”. Para esto, se planteó metodológicamente el procedimiento general de diagnóstico de la cadenalogística, basado en los modelos para la gestión de la cadena de suministros propuestos por Scout y Westbrook(1998), Mentzer (2001) y el modelo normativo para la gestión de Ballou (1991). Facilitando la generación de unanueva estrategia de negocios, económica y ambientalmente más adecuada que permita la maximización de beneficiosy mejora de la calidad de vida de los actores de la cadena. Por último, para el alcance de este propósito, seprocede a realizar una caracterización, análisis y evaluación detallada de los agentes que constituyen e influyenen la cadena logística en mención.
