A B S T R A C TThe objective of this research was to evaluate the meteorological elements of the environments and the production components of mini tomato crop in organic system in different forms of cultivation, biofertilizer doses and technological levels of protected environments. The research was conducted in completely randomized design in a 3 x 2 x 5 factorial scheme, corresponding to three greenhouses (A -climatized, B -mobile screen and C -fixed screen), two forms of cultivation (pots and beds) and five doses of a commercial biofertilizer (0, 50, 100, 150 and 200% of dose indicated), with five replicates. The treatments affected the analyzed variables, except for biofertilizer doses and interaction of treatments. Air temperature was unchanged among the environments and the mean and minimum relative humidity were within the control range in the climatized greenhouse. The greenhouse with mobile screen showed the best production results for the cultivation in beds and the biofertilizer doses were indifferent for all treatments.
Palavras-chave: rede de sensores sem fio, ieee 802.15.4, comunicação sem fio, modelo de shadowing Evaluation of radiofrequency signals for Zigbee technology in poultry housingABSTRACT This study aimed to conduct an evaluation for the implementation of Wireless Sensors Network (WSN) of tracking and control in a poultry farm. PMETEOROLOGICAL VARIABLES IN GREENHOUSES CULTIVATED WITH ORGANIC TOMATO 2 ABSTRACT There are several technologies used for modification of the micrometeorological variables in greenhouse, but the changes and crop response to these modifications must be studied. The objective was to evaluate changes in micrometeorological air variables air in synoptic times at different heights in vertical profile at the geometric center of greenhouses with different systems (evaporative cooling, mechanical ventilation and shading) and cultured cultures grown with organic minitomate. Analyzed data of sSolar radiation, temperature and relative humidity data were assessed, the latter being thewith heights of 1, 2 and 3 m from the floor in intermediate synoptic times (3, 9, 15 and 21 hours) collected in different greenhouses. The results showed that the microclimate in greenhouses with thermal reflector screens meshes could be characterized as a sensor in the production area of the vertical profile between 1 and 2 m and other thermal pocket with readings from day to night of intermediate synoptic hours. The combination of automated evaporative cooling systems, ventilation and thermal reflector screen, allowed the maximum temperature and the relative humidity of minimum air were kept in a desired amplitude control. The mobile thermal reflector screen greenhouses were effective in the attenuation of daily solar radiation, while setting a fixed thermal reflector screen recorded values below the limit for trophic culture.
Financial profitability is a factor as important as quantifying production using new technologies. This study was installed to evaluate short and long term financial viability of organic production of cherry tomatoes. Plants were grown in a greenhouse under diverse technological degrees for partial control of micrometeorological elements. The experiment was carried out at the experimental field FEAGRI/UNICAMP in three greenhouses with automated mechanical ventilation systems, evaporative cooling and thermo reflective screen. We cultivated Carolina cultivar in a spacing of 0.5x0.9 m, each plant conducted with two stems, under organic production and fertilization management. The average of production data of treatments {three greenhouses (A= climate-controlled, B= mobile screen and C= fixed screen), two cultivation systems (pots and soil beds) and five biofertilizer doses (0, 50, 100, 150, and 200%)} were evaluated using joint analysis. Thus, the economic indicators {cost benefit ratio (B/C), net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR) and Payback (PV)} were evaluated through revenues and production costs. The best alternative to net monthly cycle profitability (500 m2) was approximately 1 and 1.5 minimum wage with and without particular labor, respectively, associated with the greenhouse of medium technological level, using soil bed cultivation system. The economic viability of the project in long-term interest rates above 3% (a.a) was consistent, but the payback period even with a rate of 1% a.a was high (6.54 years) in financing conditions.
This research aimed to monitor and evaluate air-conditioned trucks transporting day-old chicks, in various shifts of travel, through general packet radio service (GPRS) technology to provide real-time thermal control for poultry industry managers. The Control-Broilers equipment used were GS-105 and the Monitorar Platform. GS-105 is composed of sensors, a microprocessor, GPRS, and batteries. The Monitorar Platform provided nine applications that acted in coordination with web technology RESTful services. Twenty-eight chick transports were evaluated and monitored using the Control-Broilers. Truck routes were supervised by two researchers to ensure real-time data transmission through laptops and smartphones. Three air-conditioned trucks were used during two of days shifts. The vehicles had the same dimensions, but the routes, travel times, and load densities varied. Measurements of the air temperature, relative humidity, and specific enthalpy inside the trucks were recorded every minute. The experimental design was entirely randomized in a 3 × 2 factorial scheme, which represented the three trucks (CL, CA and JA) in two transport shifts (day and night), containing four repetitions (travel). The air-conditioned trucks transporting day-old chicks presented a 92.85% efficiency for real-time data transmission using GPRS technology. The trucks during the travel shifts did not provide thermal homogeneity in chick loads. The night shift presented worse thermal conditions.
