Rheumatoid arthritis is a musculoskeletal disease that affects many people, this disease causes many complaints including, pain in the legs, knees and various other joints. One of the non-pharmacological measures that can be done to reduce the intensity of pain is warm ginger compresses. Ginger contains essential oils with active ingredients school, gingerol, paradol and zingerone which are warm and can promote blood circulation. This study aims to determine the effect of ginger warm compresses on the reduction in pain intensity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. This type of research is a pre-experiment with one group design pre-post test design. This research was conducted in May-2017. The samples in this study were 15 people who suffered from rheumatoid arthritis pain with consecutive sampling data collection techniques. The results showed the intensity of rheumatoid arthritis pain before the warm ginger compress (pre-test) was average with moderate pain intensity. While the intensity of pain after a warm ginger compress (post-test) is average with mild pain intensity. Based on Wilcoxon's alternative paired t-test, p-value 0,000 (<0.05) means that there is a significant influence between the effect of warm ginger compresses on the decrease in pain intensity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. It is hoped to further develop several variables and add a long time to the administration of warm ginger compresses in rheumatoid arthritis so that the results of research on ginger warm compresses to reduce pain intensity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis are more optimal and can provide more accurate research results.
Factors studied were family support, age, and adherence to taking medication. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that cause recurrence in schizophrenic patients in the Catholic Clinic of H.Andi Sulthan Hospital Dg. Radja Regency of Bulukumba. The research design uses analytical design with cross sectional approach. The population in the study were all schizophrenic patients who had schizophrenia accompanied by a family for 1 month at the mental clinic of H. Andi Sulthan Hospital Dg. Radja Bulukumba obtained data from January-March as many as 135 people, with sampling techniques using non-probability sampling. The number of samples in this study were 57 respondents. Data obtained through questionnaires made by researchers to respondents. Data analysis using Fisher's alternative Chis-quare test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of data analysis showed age variables p = 0.032, family support p = 0.005, and medication adherence variables p = 0.025. Conclusion that there is a relationship between age, family support, medication adherence to the recurrence of schizophrenia in the mental clinic of H. Andi Sulthan Hospital Dg. Radja in Bulukumba District in 2018. Suggestion expected This research can be used as additional knowledge to reduce the frequency of recurrence of schizophrenic patients. inic of H.Andi Sulthan Hospital Dg. Radja Regency of Bulukumba. Diabetes mellitus or what is commonly called diabetes (diabetes) is a disease that causes the patient’s body to be unable to control the level of sugar (glycose) in the blood. At this time, many people are doing treatment by using plants as traditional medicine. One of them is cherry leaves. Kersen leaves are believed to reduce blood glucose levels in type II diabetes mellitus sufferers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Kersen leaf decoction on blood glucose levels in patients with Type II diabetes in the Bontobahari Community Health Center in 2021. The research design used in this study was a quantitative research design with a true-experimental method (pure experiment) with a pre-post design. Test control group design. The sample used was 38 respondents, with a sampling technique that is probability sampling with simple random sampling. Analysis of the data in this study using the Unpaired T test statistical test. The results of the analysis using the unpaired T-test statistical test obtained p-value = 0.000 (p ≤ 0.05), which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. There is an effect of Kersen Leaf Decoction on Blood Glucose levels in people with Type II Diabetes in the Bontobahari Community Health Center Work Area. 2021.
One of the viruses that is currently a concern of the world community, because it is considered very dangerous for the survival of a nation is the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). HIV is a virus that paralyzes the immune system so that it causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). AIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome is a disease characterized by damage to the body's defense system, so that sufferers are easily attacked by a variety of severe infections and unusual cancers. AIDS is caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). The research design used in this study was observational analytic that is examining the relationship between variables. With a cross-sectional study approach. The population of all students of Madrasah aliyah guppi gunung Jati. The sampling method in this study uses the Nonprobability Sampling method with the sampling technique was purposive sampling with a total of 48 samples based on the sampling formula from Isaac and Michael. Knowledge about HIV / AIDS from 48 respondents can be seen that the most on good knowledge are as many as 47 (97.9%) respondents. Readiness to prevent the occurrence of HIV / AIDS is the most ready to prevent as many as 45 (93.8%) respondents. There is no relationship of knowledge with readiness to prevent the occurrence of HIV / AIDS from the proposed hypothesis known p of 1,000, when compared with an α value of 0, 05 (1,000> 0.05).
