La Responsabilidad Social Organizacional es el nuevo paradigma de gestión estratégica de las corporaciones. Dentro de sus grupos de interés fundamentales se encuentran los trabajadores y consecuentemente, su seguridad y salud. La Responsabilidad Social es de carácter voluntario. Objetivo: conocer el alcance de la legislación ecuatoriana en materia de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional (SSO) analizando y comprobando si los contenidos exigibles en la ISO 26000 (6.4.6.2) están reflejados en la normativa de Ecuador, para así poder diferenciar en futuros estudios, las acciones que sobrepasan la norma e identificarlas como “buenas prácticas” en sostenibilidad. Material-Métodos: Estudio comparativo de tipo observacional a partir de fuentes de información secundarias; normativa legal ecuatoriana vigente aplicable sobre Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional y, la Norma ISO 26000 (Guía de Responsabilidad Social) en su apartado 6.4.6.2. Se ha elegido esta norma por estar reconocida a nivel internacional y, Ecuador fue parte integrante en su elaboración. Resultados: Cuadro comparativo referido en cada punto de la Guía ISO 26000 con su respectiva legislación ecuatoriana aplicable. Conclusiones: Se puede determinar que la normativa legal ecuatoriana observa todas y cada una de las recomendaciones indicadas en la Guía.
Esta investigación es un análisis descriptivo de corte transversal, cuyo propósito es evidenciar el incremento y los riesgos acerca de la violencia intrafamiliar a las que se han visto expuestas las mujeres en la etapa del confinamiento y paralización a causa de la emergencia sanitaria por efectos del COVID-19. El objetivo del presente estudio es contribuir a las estadísticas de violencia intrafamiliar, a través de los datos obtenidos en la encuesta realizada, para poder identificar los principales factores de riesgo inherentes en cada tipo de violencia. Se analizo tres variables: sociodemográficas, tipos de violencia y factores inherentes al tipo de violencia, realizadas desde el 23 de marzo al 22 de mayo del 2020 en ocho empresas de la ciudad de Quito con una muestra de 432 trabajadoras que realizaban teletrabajo a efectos de la emergencia sanitaria, la encuesta se canalizó a través de las jefaturas de talento humano y seguridad y salud ocupacional. Las empresas donde se obtuvieron los datos del objeto de este estudio pertenecen al sector servicios, comercial y de seguros. Los resultados reflejan que el tipo de violencia más común en la muestra de las mujeres agredidas es la psicológica representando el 71.79% (n=78; 56), como dato relevante también se evidencia que la persona que agrede es el esposo alcanzando un 56.41% (n=78; 44). El desconocimiento de la legislación que ampara a las mujeres agredidas y el temor a denunciar el hecho sirve de ayuda para que los agresores con su prepotencia y machismo sigan incrementando el número de maltratos, la socialización de la protección y amparo para las mujeres es factor clave en la igualdad de género que no solo depende de la legislación vigente sino del firme compromiso de toda la sociedad para erradicar este grave problema social.
La presente investigación es un estudio descriptivo no experimental de corte transversal, cuyo propósito es evidenciar el cumplimiento de Responsabilidad Social y prevención de riesgos laborales a través de las directrices de la Guía ISO 26000 para identificar los estándares de implementación en empresas ecuatorianas. Se utilizó la encuesta como instrumento de recolección de datos en los meses de marzo y abril del año 2021, contando con una participación de 388 profesionales y al ser un estudio de variables cualitativas se analizó las frecuencias y porcentajes de cumplimiento de las directrices del numeral 6.4.6 Asunto 4 sobre prácticas laborales: salud y seguridad ocupacional de la norma ISO 26000 Guía de Responsabilidad Social. El nivel de cumplimiento de las variables analizadas en gestión documental y buenas prácticas universales como entrega de equipos de protección personal, colectiva y exámenes ocupacionales son aceptables. La gestión en equidad y protección a personas vulnerables, el generar nuevas políticas que garantice la no persecución a empleados por evidenciar acciones y condiciones inseguras en sus lugares de trabajo y la falta de compromiso en la no participación y toma de decisiones de los organismos paritarios es menos frecuente en su cumplimiento. Se observa debilidades en la consecución de las directrices emitidas por la Guía de Responsabilidad Social en el contexto del compromiso, protección y equidad de todos los grupos de interés de las organizaciones. Debe ser reformulado el compromiso de gestionar integralmente los riesgos laborales ya que es una de las aristas principales de la Responsabilidad Social empresarial.
