A pesquisa apresenta uma análise quantitativa dos cursos de aperfeiçoamento voltados para educação continuada dos profissionais de saúde no Rio Grande do Norte (RN) através da Educação à Distância (EaD), nas principais Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) do RN e uma análise qualitativa referente as justificativas, aos objetivos dos cursos e dos Ambientes Virtuais de Aprendizagem (AVA) utilizados pelos IES. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa básica, do tipo exploratório, através de pesquisa bibliográfica, desenvolvida a partir de textos descritivos nos sites oficiais das IES que apresentam os cursos de aperfeiçoamento na área de saúde. A análise da pesquisa foi realizada através da coleta de dados sobre o quantitativo das ofertadas nas IES desses cursos na modalidade presencial e EaD; a partir dos tipos de AVA utilizados nesses cursos e também através da leitura crítica-reflexiva dos conteúdos referentes a justificativa do curso e os objetivos destes para atuar na modalidade EaD. A pesquisa mostrou que no IES privadas ainda estão presas uma metodologia tradicional da EaD, metodologia e-Learning, e isso colabora para uma não aceitação da EaD não só na formação continuada como também na formação inicial dos profissionais na área de saúde e aponta que as IES públicas procuram uma aprendizagem colaborativa e interativa, metodologia Educação on-line, mas os cursos estão atrelados a esfera de gestão da saúde pública e falta cursos para o aperfeiçoamento da prática profissional do cotidiano. The objective of this work was to analyze the mineralogical, morphological, and compositional modifications resulting from the weathering of diabase grains buried into soil under different land uses for up to 378 days. Samples of comminuted diabase were put into polyester bags and buried into soil under corn crop, elephant grass, and woods, being unburied and evaluated after four time periods. The samples of the remineralizer (RM) were analyzed by X-ray diffractometry, total chemical analysis, scanning electron microscopy, and Al (Ald and Alo) and Fe (Fed and Feo) contents extracted by sodium dithionite-citrate-bicarbonate (DCB) and ammonium oxalate (AAO) solutions. Plagioclases and pyroxenes were the most weathered minerals in all three land uses and showed the same pattern of elemental gains and losses. The characterization of Fe and Al solubility in DCB and AAO showed that the greatest change in these elements was from the lithogenic and crystalline to the pedogenic and amorphous phase, when compared with their total content. Plagioclases and pyroxenes were the most weathered minerals, and Fe and Al show a great transfer from the crystalline to the amorphous phase, with values up to 26 and 175, respectively, for the ratios between bags with RM/Feo and RM-control and bags with RM/Alo and RM-control.
