ResumenLa formulación tradicional de los derechos humanos se basa en la libertad y la igualdad, pero Emmanuel Lévinas hace de la diferencia absoluta la fuente y el fundamento de tales derechos. Los Derechos Humanos aparecen entonces como los derechos del Otro y extienden el alcance de la responsabilidad hasta comprometer la propia libertad. La primera parte de este trabajo muestra cómo la preocupación por los derechos humanos fue una constante en la existencia y el pensamiento de Lévinas. La segunda parte está dedicada a exponer la fundamentación levinasiana de los derechos humanos con base en la illeidad. <p>Se propone comprender la teología de la historia a partir de la teología de la acción. La aplicación del método de interpretación textual a la acción humana permite establecer un paralelo entre la acción orientada significativamente y la interpretación de textos desde tres criterios: la fijación del significado en el tiempo, la autonomía semántica y la intencionalidad trascendente que se abre universalmente a insospechadas interpretaciones. Estos permiten aproximarse teológicamente a la acción humana atendiendo los resultados históricos en los que ella se revela como acción liberadora de Dios.</p>
ResumenDesde que la Constitución de 1991 estableció que Colombia es un país multi-étnico y pluri-cultural se constata un creciente interés en algunos sectores académicos y políticos por la cuestión del multiculturalismo. Esta investigación describe la historia del desconocimiento de la pluralidad cultural en Colombia y examina la tensión actual vivida por el Estado colombiano, que en su tarea de procurar la libertad y la igualdad de los ciudadanos debe buscar a la vez el reconocimiento de los derechos colectivos. La experiencia colombiana evidencia los límites de la legislación liberal, basada tradicionalmente en los derechos individuales y sirve como espacio para contextualizar la discusión que en torno al papel del Estado ante los derechos colectivos han desarrollado recientemente los filósofos morales partidarios del comunitarismo y aquellos partidarios del universalismo de los derechos individuales. La lectura contextual de la historia de Tamar (2 Sm 13, 1-22) con un grupo de mujeres que vive con VIH reveló sus propias historias en las que la estigmatización causada por los otros las ha llevado a vivir discriminación, silencio, prejuicio y vulneración de sus derechos. Esta realidad se constituye en un lugar teológico, sin duda, porque sólo podemos hablar de Dios si hablamos de la humanidad de los marginados y excluidos de nuestro tiempo. Los datos recabados bajo la investigación-acción participativa y la lectura contextual de la Biblia permitieron hacer una aproximación teológica al drama vivido por estas mujeres, en el cual se ejerce el poder sobre lo femenino, su cuerpo y su sexualidad como signo del anti-reino y de la no-vida. Además, el recorrido realizado por las mujeres también les permitió su propia sanación y darse cuenta de que, sólo si rompen el silencio, podrán luchar por sus derechos bajo la conciencia de que son víctimas, no culpables. Se trata de una apuesta por la justicia querida por Dios, de ese Dios que se autocomunica en la historia humana.
