In this study, polymeric composites were prepared from unsaturated polyester as a base material with glass powder (fluorescent) in different weight ratios (4, 6, 8, 10,and 11%) as a support material and after comparison before and after reinforcement of the prepared composites, an increase was found. In the values of mechanical properties (hardness, compressive strength), the shock resistance values decreased, but an increase in temperature leads to an increase in the values of shock resistance, as well as the values of compressive strength And it reduces the hardness value
In this study a type of polymeric composites from melting poly propylene as a basic substance with Palm fronds powder were prepared. Evaluation of polymeric composites was done by studying some of it is mechanical properties, which included:Yong modulus (E), Impact Strength (I.S), Brinell hardness (B.H) and Compression Strength (C.S). The polymeric composites were studied before and after reinforcment by comparing between them. There was an increase in resistance of Yong modulus (E), Impact Strength (I.S), Brinell hardness (B.H) and compression Strength (C.S). Also, the effect of some acids were studied such as (HCl, H2SO4, HNO3) with concentrations of (0.5N; 1N and 1.5N) respectively. The physical properties of absorbance and poly propylene's diffusion coefficient were studied before and after reinforcment, The results showed an increase in values of these properties with increasing concentration of acid and time of polymer's immersion in the acidic solution.
In this study a type of polymeric composites from melting poly Unsaturated polyester as a basic substance with powdered sawdust was prepared, studying some of it is mechanical properties, which was included: Impact Strength (I.), Yong modulus (E), hardness (B.) and compression Strength (C.). Polymeric composites before and after reinforcing were studied by comparison between them. It was noticed increasing resistance of Yong modulus (E), Impact Strength (I.), hardness (B.) and compression Strength (C.). Also, It is studied the effect of some acids like (, H2SO4, HNO3) with concentrations (0.5 N; 1N and 1.5N) respectively. Some physical properties were studied as absorbance and poly 's diffusion coefficient before and after reinforcing. The results showed increases in values of these properties with increasing concentration of acid and time of polymer's immersion in the acidic solution.
In this study, activated carbon is made from the mango nuclei (Mangifera indica L) which is used during the preparation process of alkaline hydroxides. Alkaline hydroxides simultaneously served as an activating and carbonating agent. The hydroxyl ion increases the raw material's carbon content by removing hydrogen from it in the form of water molecules. The size of the pores generated in the prepared activated carbon is determined by the positive ion in the alkaline hydroxyl. In order to determine the qualities of the manufactured activated carbon, measurements of the adsorption of the dyes methylene blue and iodine from their aqueous solutions are made, which provide information about the values of the outer and inner surface areas, respectively. Also, the density, moisture content, and ash content are measured. Compared to the BDH Company's commercial model, certain produced models provided better adsorption qualities.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
