Aus 2,7‐Dinitroindazol (II) werden mit den cyclischen Aminen (IVa) hauptsächlich die 3‐Aminoindazole (Va) erhalten, während mit den acyclischen primären und sekundären Aminen (IVb) und (IVc) überwiegend das Isomerisierungsprodukt (III) entsteht.
Das aus 4‐Nitroindazol (I) durch Umsetzung mit Salpetersäure und Acetanhydrid nach einem verbesserten Verfahren hergestellte 2,4‐Dinitroindazol (II) reagiert mit primären Aminen (III) zu 3‐Amino‐4‐nitroindazolen (IV).
Taraxastanon‐(3) (I) reagiert mit Äthylformiat in Gegenwart von Na‐äthanolat unter Stickstoff bei nachfolgender Hydrolyse zum Hydroxymethylenderivat (II), das im Gemisch mit den tautomeren Formen (III) und (IV) vorliegt.
