Die Kondensation der Verbindung (I) zu polymeren Produkten mit Dibutylzinndiacetat (II) und Zinndioctoat (III) als Katalysatoren wird in Gegenwart von Zusätzen mit Donor‐ oder Akzeptoreigenschaften (IV)‐(VII) untersucht.
Bei der Kondensation von 1,3‐Dihydroxy‐1,l,3,3‐tetramethyldisiloxan (I) mit Diphenyldichlorsilan (IIa) in Gegenwart von Aminen in Äther steigt die Ausbeute an 1,1 ,3,3‐Tetramethyl‐5,5‐diphenylcyclotrisiloxan (IIIa) mit wachsender Basizität des Amins und zunehmender Verdünnung des Reaktionsgemischs.
Durch Addition der Methyl‐H‐chlorsilane (II) an Propylen (I) in Gegenwart von Hexachloroplatinsäure werden die n‐Propy1‐methylchlorsilane (III) erhalten (70 ‐ 80% Ausbeute).
