Penerapan sistem merupakan hal penting bagi pihak pengembang sistem informasi dalam menilai keberhasilan sistem informasi tersebut apakah berjalan sesuai perencanaan dan apakah telah memenuhi keinginan dari penggunanya. Perencanaan dan Analisa yang tidak jelas sering menimbulkan permasalahan yang akan berdampak pada kegiatan pengembangan. Penelitian ini akan memberikan gambaran penggunaan model prototyping pada kegiatan pengembangan sistem informasi dengan harapan dapat menghasilkan prototype sebagai salah satu langkah awal sebuah kegiatan pengembangan sistem informasi. Protype dibuat dengan tujuan memberikan penyamaan presepsi dan pemahaman awal akan proses dasar dari sistem yang akan dikembangkan, sehingga akan ada komunikasi yang baik antara pengembang dan pengguna sistem. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi ataupun rujukan bagi pengembang sistem informasi yang telah mengikuti langkahlangkah pengembangan secara terstruktur, sehingga memberikan kejelasan proses bagi pengguna dan pemerhati ilmu pengembangan sistem informasi.
This article is the result of research aims to describe the patterns and characteristics of the process of metacognition student of mathematics in solving calculus problems. Description was done by looking at changes in awareness, evaluation, and regulation as components of metacognition. The changes in components of metacognition seen by the emergence of indicators for each indicator were described in descriptors. To see the changes, the researcher used the instrument consisting of calculus problems, metacognition questionnaires, observation sheet, and interviews. Researcher gave calculus to 23 students who followed the course of differential calculus. The research data were in the form of the works of the students, transcript think-aloud, metacognition questionnaire results, observations using the observation sheet, and a transcript of the interview. Based on research data obtained, the research subjects were categorized in the high-ability students, medium, and low. Data were analyzed using constant comparison method of Glaser and Strauss. Based on data, analysis can be concluded that the pattern and characteristics of the change process awareness, evaluation and regulation mathematic students in solving calculus problems can be distinguished in the process of metacognition complete with the order, complete metacognition was not with the order, and metacognition incomplete.
The European Union funded project SAMS (Smart Apiculture Management Services) enhances international cooperation of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and sustainable agriculture between EU and developing countries in pursuit of the EU commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goal “End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture”. The project consortium comprises four partners from Europe (two from Germany, Austria, and Latvia) and two partners each from Ethiopia and Indonesia. Beekeeping with small-scale operations provides suitable innovation labs for the demonstration and dissemination of cost-effective and easy-to-use open source ICT applications in developing countries. SAMS allows active monitoring and remote sensing of bee colonies and beekeeping by developing an ICT solution supporting the management of bee health and bee productivity as well as a role model for effective international cooperation. By following the user centered design (UCD) approach, SAMS addresses requirements of end-user communities on beekeeping in developing countries, and includes findings in its technological improvements and adaptation as well as in innovative services and business creation based on advanced ICT and remote sensing technologies. SAMS enhances the production of bee products, creates jobs (particularly youths/women), triggers investments, and establishes knowledge exchange through networks and initiated partnerships.
Neural network attracts plenty of researchers lately. Substantial number of renowned universities have developed neural network for various both academically and industrially applications. Neural network shows considerable performance on various purposes. Nevertheless, for complex applications, neural network’s accuracy significantly deteriorates. To tackle the aforementioned drawback, lot of researches had been undertaken on the improvement of the standard neural network. One of the most promising modifications on standard neural network for complex applications is deep learning method. In this paper, we proposed the utilization of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) in Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), which is one of the basic methods in deep learning. The use of PSO on the training process aims to optimize the results of the solution vectors on CNN in order to improve the recognition accuracy. The data used in this research is handwritten digit from MNIST. The experiments exhibited that the accuracy can be attained in 4 epoch is 95.08%. This result was better than the conventional CNN and DBN. The execution time was also almost similar to the conventional CNN. Therefore, the proposed method was a promising method.
Admission of a new student is one of the processes that exist in educational institutions such as universities that are useful for screening prospective students who are selected according to the criteria determined by the university. In general, the process of admission is done through the stages of registration, file selection and the announcement of student acceptance. Stage of the admissions process is also done by Universitas Widyagama Malang. Appropriate promotional methods and strategies are needed so that the number of students can increase every year, methods and strategies can be developed using new student data. The Moment Trend method uses statistical and mathematical calculations. Moment trend method is a method of analysis that can be used for forecasting purposes by forming the equation Y = a+bX. The purpose of this research is to make Application of Trend Moment Method (Forecasting) of New student at Universitas Widyagama Malang. Forecasting application using trend moment method can be used to predict the number of a new student in Universitas Widyagama Malang in the next coming period and also this forecasting application can facilitate officers at the Universitas Widyagama Malang to detrmine and know the number of a new students who will come. This application has an accuracy of 98.25%
