The purpose of this research is to improve students’ motivation and learning outcomes by applying the Google classroom-based E-Learning model in the Satya Wacana Christian University Economic Education Study Program. The research method used was a classroom action research with the application of 2 cycles. The research subjects were 17 students who took Basic Accounting courses and research objects that took place during the learning process. The data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive with percentages used to measure the level of student motivation, and for learning outcomes an evaluation was conducted at the end of each lesson. Classroom action research results obtained by implementing Google Classroom could improve students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This improvement could be proved from the implementation of actions starting from pre-action, cycle I, and cycle II. Student learning motivation was said to succeed with an average of 75-100%. The results of the study obtained in the first cycle of action amounted to 74.11% and 80.11% in the second cycle. While the percentage of student learning outcomes had also increased. The increase occurred in pre-action from 50.75 to 73.53 in which the first cycle increased by 22.77, and from 73.53 to 87.35 in the second cycle meaning that an increase amounted to13.82.
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Seiring berjalannya waktu, media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi semakin dibutuhkan. Hal ini disebabkan berubahnya gaya hidup para remaja/mahasiswa yang lebih menyukai belajar dengan menggunakan teknologi, khususnya dari YouTube. Pemanfaatan YouTube di Indonesia untuk media pembelajaran ekonomiakuntansi belum digunakan secara maksimal. Tidak banyak yang menyajikan materi-materi kuliah atau mata pelajaran ekonomi-akuntansi. Video pembelajaran terkait yang sudah adapun belum dapat merepresentasikan konten dengan menarik. Selain itu, kebanyakan media YouTube digunakan untuk pembelajaran dibidang seni dan hobi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari subjek uji pakar dua orang, dan subjek uji coba yang adalah 24 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP UKSW. Hasil penelitian menujukkan produk video pembelajaran berbasis YouTube yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran ekonomi-akuntansi dan diharapkan untuk penelitian di masa yang akan datang mampu mengembangkan lagi media pembelajaran sejenis berbasis YouTube.
This study aims to evaluate online learning in trading company accounting learning in class XI Accounting students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research used a qualitative approach with Kirkpatrick's evaluation model. The subjects in this study were trading company accounting teachers and students of class XI Accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono. Data collection techniques were through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the reaction of online learning in accounting trading company class XI Accounting students and teachers were less satisfied in carrying out online learning activities, but students were quite satisfied with the available facilities and the motivation provided by the teacher. The learning process of trading company accounting students experienced an increase in knowledge, skills, and changes in attitude, but not as a whole. Changes in student behaviour occured somewhat after online learning of trading company accounting, but not completely. Student learning outcomes obtained online were good but not as good as when face-to-face learning was carried out. In conclusion, online learning for trading company accounting lessons for class XI Accounting during the Covid-19 pandemic is quite effective.
Almost all students who have difficulty in understanding accounting material. Only a few students can understand thoroughly. Most of the students are oriented only to the result of the exercise from the questions, not the understanding of the process, especially for trading company accounting cycle topic. This material requires more understanding in every process of preparation until the preparation of financial statements. The focus on calculating inventory and cost of goods sold makes students often reluctant to do and understand it. This condition also felt by Sedes Sapientiae High School Semarang students. The more complicated cycle requires more attention, sometimes make the students less patient in understanding the cycle. Based on this condition, a tool is needed to solve the problem, which is the Accounting Trade Game. The aim of this game is to attract more attention to students in the learning process on accounting economics subject especially for trading company accounting cycle. In order to solve this problem, development research was carried out using the Borg and Gall model. This model consists of a preliminary study stage, preparation of a product draft, also development and evaluation of the product. As the result, a tool called Accounting Trade Game is a good tool which means that it can help students in the learning the material.
This study aims to have a direct impact on consumer behavior and mental accounting on financial management either partial or simultaneously. The population recruited in this study were SWCU FKIP students adding 1.291 from various study programs. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling where the data source was too broad and the sampling was based on the population area, the sample used 298 SWCU FKIP students used the Isaac and Michael's formula. Collecting data through distributing questionnaires online with a Likert Scale. The questionnaire test used test in the form of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and linearity test as well as additional validity and reliability tests. The classical assumption test that is carried out does not occur problems and can be proposed. The statistical methods used is multiple linear regression with a significant level of 5%. The redults of this study indicate that there is no significant influence between consumptive behavior and financial management 0.112 > 0.05, and there is a significant influence between mental accounting on financial management of 0.000 < 0.05. simultaneously, there is a significant influence between consumptive behavior and mental accounting on financial management of 0,000 < 0.05 has a significant impact.
