In the title compound, catena-poly[[aquazinc(II)]-micro(3)-tyrosinato], [Zn(C(9)H(7)NO(3))(H(2)O)](n), each Zn atom has a distorted square-pyramidal geometry comprised of three O atoms and one N atom from three tyrosinate (tyr) ligands, and one aqua ligand. Two inversion-related Zn(2+) ions are bridged by two O atoms from the phenolate groups of two tyr ligands to form a centrosymmetric dimeric unit, which can be described as a planar Zn(2)O(2) four-membered ring. These repeating dimeric units are arranged along the c axis to give a one-dimensional chain coordination polymer, in which the tyr ligand adopts an unusual chelating/bridging coordination mode.
Salicylaldehyde azine (SA) were synthesized with salicylaldehyde and hydrazine hydrate as a raw material. The crystal structure was characterized by X-ray diffraction, as well as the total antioxidant capacity and antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were investigated. It was found that SA exhibited significant antibacterial activities and total antioxidant capacity.
The total alkaloids (TAE) were obtained from the fruits of Evodia rutaecarpa (Juss.) Benth. The antioxidant activities of TAE towards the inhibitory effect on 2, 2’-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical, total antioxidant capacity, and inhibition on lipid peroxidation were investigated. TAE was found that the total antioxidant capacity and inhibitory lipid peroxidation are superior to synthetic antioxidant 2, 6-di-ter-butyl-4-methylphenol (BHT), but scavenging activity on DPPH radical is lower than that of BHT at the same condition.
Cemented sand and gravel (CSG) is a new type of dam materials. It not only can reduce the waste of resources and environmental pollution, but has the merits of both gravel and concrete. In this study, Cemented sand and gravel specimens with three cement ratios were compacted at optimum water content and cured for 14 days. Based on the consolidated drained shear triaxial tests, the mechanical properties of different proportion of CSG are studied on shear failure mode, stress-strain relationship, shear strength. Research results showed that, with the increasing of the content of cement, the peak and residual strength of CSG were improved, but the failure strains were decreased. In addition, CSG material behaves distinctly softening.
