To achieve the climate goals, the European Commission has defined rules for the reduction of CO2 emissions of trucks. Thus, commercial vehicle manufacturers face the challenge of offering electric trucks on the market in a timely manner. To ensure a competitive production, the paper presents a procedural model for the virtual validation of symbiotic assembly systems for manufacturing electric and conventional trucks.
