The beneficial of breastfeeding can be felt by baby and its mother. The national scope of giving breastmilk in 2018 is 32,3%. However, the national scope target for breastmilk set by the Ministry of Health, is 80%. In exclusive breastfeeding, mother needs support from the family as closest neighborhood. This study aim to identify publications that provide information on concepts and data relevant to the topic of family support for exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia. This study uses a literature review design with 3 search enginees: Science Direct, Google Scholar, and PubMed. The total of 12 selected articles with a cross-sectional approach has population of mother and baby aged 0-24 months. The results of the article analysis shows that 9 articles stated that there were relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding. Then, 3 articles stated that there were no relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding. Support that comes from husband and other family members can increase mother's ability to give exclusive breastfeeding, a sense of calm and comfortable. Thereby, it also can increase production of the hormone oxytocin and affect breastmilk production. In addition, family support can increase confidence in exclusive breastfeeding. By continously giving an exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, can provide benefits for both mother and baby. The nursing implication that can be done is to provide health education to mother regarding exclusive breastfeeding as the main source of food and the best nutrition for babies in a first 6 months.
Healthy nurses are a key component when providing quality health care. This paper aims to review the factors that may relate to the physical and spiritual health status of nurses, and the extent to which health affects the work productivity of nurses which ultimately, has an impact on the quality of health services. We conducted a literature search via an online database and found 92 articles with keywords related to this topic. After the inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, 15 articles were included in the analysis. Implementing a health promotion model is beneficial to encourage nurses practicing a healthy lifestyle behaviour and improve their health status. This includes creating a healthy work environment, physical activity, having regular meals as part of a balanced nutritional diet, having sufficient rest, and practising stress management.
Nursing documentation is the important thing that must be done by a nurse. There are two kind ofnursing documentation, computerized nursing documentation and manual nursing documentation.This research purposes to find out the different of nursing satisfaction by computerized nursingdocumentation and manual nursing documentation. Crosssectional design was used in thisresearch. Sampling technique used simple random sampling. Total of sample was 30 respondentsand devided by 2 groups who used computerized nursing documentation and who used manualnursing documentation. Data was analyzed by Mann Whitney. The result showed nurse who usedcomputerized nursing documentation have very satisfactied category (100%). Nurse who usedmanual nursing documentation have very satisfactied category (100%). The result of statisticanalyze showed that p Value (1.000)>alpha (0.05), that means there wasn’t differences of nursingsatisfaction by computerized nursing documentation and manual nursing documentation (study inParu Hospital and Baladhika Husada Hospital Subdistrict at Jember). The reason why nursingsatisfaction by manual nursing documentation have very satisfactied category, because it couldease in used of than computerized nursing documentation.Keywords: computerized nursing documentation, manual nursing documentation, satisfaction
Self concept is one of adaptive modes based on Callista Roy’s theory which very important formental deficiency influence integrity of mental in practice to had a good social interaction. The kind ofthis research is descriptive analytic by using study cross sectional. Method of collecting samplesusing total sampling and total of samples got are 35 respondents. Data was analyzed by chi-squareand the result of statistical test shows point p=0.000. Ha is accepted if Ho is rejected in which Ho isrejected if the point is p ≤ α, 0,000 ≤ 0,05. The result of the statistic analysis is that there is significantcorrelation between adaptive modes: self concept based on Callista Roy’s theory and socialinteraction abilities to mental retardation children on SLB-C TPA at Jember Regency. OR (26.00),that means the respondents who had a positive self concept have 26.00 possibility to be had a goodsocial interaction abilities. The result of the research is positive self concept with good socialinteraction ability about 80%. Suggests for nursing in community to involve and increase their rolemodel as educator and care giver in attempt to share information by doing a counseling.Keywords: self concept, social interaction, mental retardation
The provision of health services to the community based on the professional attitudes and behavior of nurses will increase public trust and reduce negative perceptions such as inappropriate actions, lack of skills, lack of communication with patients and lack of speed in responding to patient complaints. The study aimed to determinants that influence the professional behavior of nurses in health centers in Indonesia. An analytic observational study with a cross sectional research design, it was conducted for two months, from August to October 2022. We involved 227 nurses working in 50 puskesmas in Jember Regency, East Java, Indonesia. There are 3 new findings in this study, the following is an explanation of the research findings (1) the professional behavior of nurses is influenced by sociodemographic factors, individual factors, and psychological factors, (2) the determinants that have a major influence on nurses' professional behavior are individual factors, ( 3) Individual factors are reflected by indicators of competence and ability of nurses, (4) The better the competence and ability of nurses, the better the professional behavior of nurses. The professional behavior of nurses is influenced by sociodemographic factors, individual factors, and psychological factors.
