Pesantren as Islamic education institution have two main focuses in organizing their activities programs; first is the aspect of learning, and second is the aspect of education. In the learning aspect, t he Santri gained cognitive knowledge from Kitab Kuning book, whereas the Santri obtained the affective and psychomotor aspects through the boarding education system. Where the Santri lives with his friends, teachers, and Kyai together in the scope of Pondok or dormitory. The purpose of writing this paper is to describe dormitory management with a managerial perspective. The conclusion is that the dormitory management concept, which includes planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, has been carried out by boarding schools. Optimizing the management functions of the management of the dormitory will assist the board in achieving the main objectives of boarding school.Abstrak : Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam memiliki dua fokus utama dalam menyelenggarakan program kegiatannya; pertama adalah pada aspek pembelajaran; dan kedua adalah pada aspek Pendidikan. Pada aspek Pembelajaran, para santri mendapatkan pengetahuan kognitif dari pengajian kitab kuning. Sedangkan pada aspek afektif dan psikomotorik didapatkan oleh para santri di luar kegiatan pengajian kitab yaitu melalui Pendidikan system asrama. Di mana para santri berkumpul dengan santri-santri yang lain, guru, dan kyai bersama dalam satu ruang lingkup pondok atau asrama. Tujuan dari penulisan paper ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan asrama dalam perspektif manajemen atau dengan kata lain adalah manajemen asrama di pesantren. Sebagai kesimpulan adalah bahwa konsep manajemen asrama yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, dan pengawasan telah dilakukan oleh pengurus pesantren. Optimalisasi dari fungsi-fungsi manajemen terhadap pengelolaan asrama akan membantu pengurus dalam mencapai tujuan utama pesantren. Konsep pesantren yang memiliki lima unsur merupakan temuan awal yang menjadi pedoman dalam mengkonstruksi pemahaman tentang pesantren. Demikian itu dibuktikan dengan penelitian dan kajian yang dilakukan oleh Mastuhu (1994), Zarkasyi (2007, dan Soebahar (2013) yang merujuk pada unsur-unsur tersebut untuk memahami pola pengelolaan pesantren.Tujuan pendidikan pesantren yaitu menciptakan dan mengembangkan kepribadian muslim sebagaimana Rasulullah Saw. yang mandiri, berintegritas, dan berda'wah dengan mencintai ilmu untuk menjadi muhsin yang lebih dari sekedar mukmin (Mastuhu, 1994; 55). The purpose of this research is to explain the relationship between organizational structure, and organizational culture with teacher performance in Pesantren institution as an indigenous educational institution in Indonesia. Both become prediction to increase teacher performance. This research used a quantitative approach with the correlation model. While the population from this study is teachers at Pesantren in Depok City West Java. The finding is there is a correlation between the organizational structure with teacher performance is 0.683, and organizational culture with teacher performance is 0.749. When both variables are together correlated by teacher performance result is 0.764, and contribute to 58,4 % to teacher performance. It is found that significant relationship between organizational structure and organizational culture to teacher performance in Pesantren education system. The implication is with high levels of organizational structure, and strong organizational culture will make high teacher performance. So the leaders and managers at Pesantren have to manage these two variables that might increase teacher performance.
[Bahasa]: Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan santri tentang sistem organisasi yang terdiri dari struktur organisasi, budaya organisasi, manajemen sumber daya manusia, dan tujuan organisasi; (2) meningkatkan kemampuan santri dalam menyusun sistem organisasi yang baik untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi secara efektif dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah, metode penugasan, metode praktik, dan analisis perbandingan pretest dan posttest. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah (1) meningkatnya pengetahuan pengurus tentang pengelolaan organisasi berbasis sistem dengan memberdayakan struktur organisasi yang baik, budaya organisasi yang kuat, dan sumber daya manusia yang direncanakan. Dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis deskriptif rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest yang meningkat, korelasi dan signifikansi korelasi yang kuat yaitu 0,706 dan 0,000. Namun pada aspek pengaruh belum menunjukkan nilai pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai t hitung 1,220 dan sig. 0,232.; (2) meningkatnya kemampuan santri dalam menyusun kegiatan-kegiatan terkait dengan struktur organisasi, sosialisasi budaya organisasi, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, dan menentukan visi organisasi. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan sistem organisasi dengan metode workshop dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan santri dalam berorganisasi sehingga membantu mereka dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi secara efektif dan efisien. The method used was the lecture, assignment, practice, and comparative analysis of the pretest and posttest. The results of this community service are (1) the increase of students’ knowledge about managing a system-based organization by empowering a good organizational structure, strong organizational culture, and supported the human resources. It is shown by the results of the descriptive analysis where the average score of pretest and posttest get higher, strong correlation and its significance reach 0.706 and 0.000. However, the aspect of influence has not yet yield a significant value with t value of 1,220 and sig. 0.232 .; (2) the increase of students ability to compile activities related to organizational structure, socialization of organizational culture, management of human resources, and determining the organization's vision. The results of this community service reveal that the organization's training system using the workshop method can improve the knowledge and abilities of students in the organization to help them achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. Education is very important in improving the quality of human resource. The quality of education is a hope and a dream for community. Total Quality Management can improve school performance if it is applied appropriately. This research aimed to find out the programming, implementation programs, and factors affecting the implementation of Total Quality Management. This research employed descriptive method with qualitative approach. Technique of data collection used was interview, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were principal, teachers, and staffs. The results showed that: (1) the Muhammadiyah Elementary School Bantul refer to the principles of Total Quality Management in programming. (2) The implementation of Total Quality Management involved all school elements. The beneficial implementation of Total Quality Management was to increase teachers’ performance in order to affect students’ achievement and school performance. (3) The factors affecting were motivating factor and inhibiting factor. Motivating factors include a good quality of teachers and principal, an adequate infrastructure, a high level of trust and public interest of parents and school committee. The inhibiting factors include inadequate human resources and the incompatibility of teachers and staff’s performance with Total Quality Management.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the educational quality framework based on the sematic study in QS. Al Ma'un's and its implementation in learning in the fourth grade of SD STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung. This research used descriptive qualitative research methods. The primary data sources of this research were Al Ma'un Surah Al-Qur'an, headmaster, teachers and 4th-grade students of SD STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung, while secondary data sources were in the form of relevant research results and documentation. Data collection techniques used content analysis techniques, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were reducing data, displaying data, making conclusions and verification. The results obtained in this study: 1) QS. Al Ma'un with 7 verses contains the true meaning of religious deceiver and deceit the day of retribution. Their main characters are arbitrary to orphans and do not want to help the poor. Threating to hypocrites who neglect their prayers, showing up their prayers to people even though often leave the prayers and negligent their goals. They also do not want to help others, even lending something to people, even less to give charity and pay zakat. These are the wretched people. 2) the implementation of QS. Ma'un in 4th grade learning at SD STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung is praying to worship on time and in a group, giving charity, and having social community programs.
