ABSTRAK Majas dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia merupakan sebuah objek kajian yang menarik untuk diteliti. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan siswa mengenai majas, sehingga memerlukan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membantu dan memudahkan siswa dalam belajar majas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan Aplikasi 1001 Majas guna membantu dan mempermudah pemahaman mengenai majas pada siswa SMA di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode persentase deskriptif. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 7 Malang dan MA Al-Irtiqo' sebagai populasi penelitian. Total terdapat 5 kelas di SMAN 7 Malang dan 2 kelas di MA Al-Irtiqo', berdasarkan kondisi tersebut maka digunakan teknik simple random sampling untuk menentukan sampel penelitian, sehingga didapatkan siswa kelas X 1 dan X 3 di SMAN 7 Malang serta Kelas X 1 dan X 2 di MA Al-Irtiqo' sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan Aplikasi 1001 Majas mampu memudahkan pemahaman mengenai majas dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan (2) keberadaan Aplikasi 1001 Majas juga dapat berperan sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan manfaat yang berguna pada siswa. The lack of students' knowledge in figurative language requires a certain application that may facilitate students to learn figurative language. This study aims at digging out the 1001 Majas application in facilitating senior high school students in Malang to comprehend figurative language. The study employed descriptive method. The reserch population of the study included tenth grade students of 5 classes at SMAN 7 Malang and tenth grade students of 2 classes at MA Al-Irtiqo'. Simple random sampling was used to determine the research samples; therefore, students of class X1 and X3 from SMAN 7 Malang and students of class X1 and X2 were obtained. Interview and survey were employed as the data collection techniques. Descriptive analysis was ultimately employed as the data analysis. The findings showed that (1) 1001 Majas application can facilitate the students to comprehend figurative language and (2) 1001 Majas application may serve as a learning medium that can give plenty of benefits to the students.
