Mục tiêu: Mô tả đặc điểm dịch tễ học lâm sàng của trẻ tự kỷ từ 3 đến 6 tuổi điều trị tại Bệnh viện Nhi Thái Bình và nhận xét kết quả điều trị ở những bệnh nhân trên theo thang điểm Gilliam.Đối tượng: Gồm 35 trẻ được chẩn đoán bệnh tự kỷ theo tiêu chuẩn chẩn đoán DSM V, điều trị tại Bệnh viện Nhi Thái Bình từ ngày 01/04/2017 đến 31/03/2018.Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu mô tả một loạt ca bệnh đủ tiêu chuẩn.Kết quả: 3- < 4 tuổi có 24 trẻ, 4-<5 tuổi có 8 trẻ, 5-6 tuổi có 3 trẻ. Tuổi trung bình của 35 trẻ là 43,7 ± 9,3 tháng; có 27 trẻ nam và 8 trẻ nữ, nam/nữ là 3,4/1; có 23 trẻ sống ở nông thôn và 12 trẻ sống ở thành thị; có 24 trẻ tự chơi một mình và có 11 trẻ xem ti vi, điện thoại, máy tính, quảng cáo trên 4 giờ; có 22 trẻ đi học mẫu giáo trên 6 tháng trước khi can thiệp điều trị và có 13 trẻ tự kỷ ở nhà. Có 11 trẻ được gia đình chăm sóc và can thiệp tích cực tại nhà, 12 trẻ được gia đình chăm sóc và can thiệp thường xuyên tại nhà và có 12 trẻ được gia đình chăm sóc và can thiệp thỉnh thoảng tại nhà. Có 30 trẻ chậm nói và không nói được từ nào; có 32 trẻ có ngôn ngữ kì dị vô nghĩa; có 30 trẻ không biết lồng ghép giao tiếp không lời; có 33 trẻ gọi không quay đầu lại; có tất cả có 35 trẻ tự kỷ không biết trò chơi có tính chất tưởng tượng,không biết kết bạn và chơi với bạn; có 30 trẻ có hành vi vận động rập khuôn lặp lại, có 32 trẻ có lối suy nghĩ chào hỏi nhắc lại câu hỏi của người khác; có 31 trẻ gắn bó chặt chẽ quá mức và 11 trẻ thờ ơ không quan tâm; tất cả trẻ tự kỷ đều có rối loạn cảm giác, giác quan ở mức độ khác nhau; có 5 trẻ ở mức độ nhẹ, 21 trẻ ở mức độ trung bình và 9 trẻ ở mức độ nặng. Có cải thiện rõ rệt sau điều trị; về hành vi định hình, về kỹ năng giao tiếp, tương tác xã hội, mức độ nặng nhẹ của bệnh; tuổi trẻ càng nhỏ thì can thiệp có kết quả tốt hơn; trẻ có đi mẫu giáo thì kết quả điều trị tốt hơn; trẻ được gia đình can thiệp tích cực tại nhà thì cải thiện tốt hơn.Kết luận: Trẻ tự kỷ đến can thiệp chủ yếu là trẻ 3-4 tuổi, dưới 5 tuổi can thiệp tốt hơn, gia đình tích cực can thiệp có cải thiện tốt hơn.
