Nowadays, the implementation of information and communication technology in education is important. In harmony with technological developments, the term mobile learning comes to represent learning that utilizes mobile communication devices. The implementation of augmented reality in education provides a new learning model in the form of a combination of technology-based conventional learning media. This research aimed to evaluate augmented reality-based books as media for learning Cirebon mask dance. As many as 15 respondents were involved in the evaluation process, including testing the usability using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The evaluation using SUS found a value of 77.67, meaning that the Acceptability Ranges category was “Acceptable”; the Grade Scale category was “C”; and the Adjective Rating category was “Excellent”, while that using UEQ found that each category, namely Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, Dependability, and Novelty got a value greater than the impression value (0.8), namely 2.122; 2.117; 1.983; 1.750; 1.950 and 1,867, respectively. Overall, all of the evaluation results show that augmented reality-based books are acceptable to be used as media for learning Cirebon mask dance.
Today, augmented reality has an important role in human activity, especially in the field of education. The increasing capabilities of mobile devices also contribute to augmented reality to reduce real world distance with the virtual world. This paper will discuss the design and testing of iBook as media of learning the Cirebon mask dance art. iBook is a form of optimisation of traditional books based on augmented reality. The iBook designs will interact with virtual objects through direct touch on the application interface (pinch and swipe). The technical testing of iBook is a test of markerless reading ability and audio response time test. The markerless detection test resulted in minimum response time less than 1 second, minimum distance of 64 cm and a maximum distance of 3 cm, a minimum angle of 23° and a maximum angle of 90°. Tracking test obtained a minimum distance of 3 cm and a maximum distance of 71 cm, a minimum angle of 90° and a maximum angle of 16°. Any markerless detection and tracking can be done in unobstructured condition of no more than 50%. The testing of audio content obtained activation response time less than 1 second with original duration equal to active duration.
Referring to the president's instruction of number 3 in 2004, the transportation department has been given a project to build some managing and controlling shelters for counting and reporting the traffics. Based on an observation of landline transportation from Yogyakarta to Cirebon, the process of vehicles's computation was done manually by using mechanical timer button, and the result was stored on logbook. This causes a problem since the computation requires rapidity and good physical condition to acquaire the accurate data. In the research, an automatic system of vehicles computation was designed by utilizing the technology of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). The vehilcles were identified by radio waves emanating from the RFID reader, and the RFID transponder code would be processed into information needed by the user application. The result shows that a system of traffic computation utilizing RFID that is able to process some information automatically to analyze the traffic jam. Intisari-Merujuk pada Instruksi Presiden Nomor 3 Tahun 2004, bahwa Dinas Perhubungan diberikan tugas membangun posko pengawasan dan pengendalian untuk menghitung dan melaporkan lalu lintas. Berdasarkan pengamatan di jalur transportasi darat antara Yogyakarta hingga Cirebon, proses penghitungan kendaraan dikerjakan secara manual dengan menggunakan tombol penghitung mekanik kemudian hasilnya disimpan pada logbook. Kenyataan ini menimbulkan permasalahan pada proses perhitungan, karena hal ini membutuhkan kelincahan dan kondisi fisik yang baik untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat. Pada penelitian ini, akan merancang sistem yang dapat menghitung kendaraan secara otomatis dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Kendaraan diidentifikasi menggunakan gelombang radio yang memancar dari reader RFID dan kode transponder dari RFID akan diolah menjadi informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna aplikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem penghitung lalu lintas kendaraan yang memanfaatkan RFID dan mampu mengolah informasi yang tersimpan secara otomatis untuk menganalisa kemacetan.
Dewasa ini, pihak individu dan organisasi telah memanfaatkan media website sebagai teknologi informasi untuk membagikan atau mendapatkan informasi secara mudah dalam waktu singkat. PKM Center Universitas Ahmad Dahlan telah menggunakan media website sebagai pelayanan lomba setiap mahasiswa, tetapi mendapatkan sejumlah masukan dari pengguna terkait tampilan website yang kurang atraktif, dan informasi yang disampaikan kurang aktual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis website PKM Center Universitas Ahmad Dahlan berdasarkan persepsi pengguna melalui pendekatan WebQual 4.0. Proses analisis diawali dengan menyusun hipotesis penelitian untuk mengkaji antara hubungan variabel independen yang terdiri dari kegunaan, kualitas informasi, dan kualitas layanan interaksi terhadap variabel dependen yaitu kepuasan pengguna. Proses kedua adalah menyusun, dan menguji instrumen penelitian melalui uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas oleh 30 mahasiswa. Proses ketiga adalah mendapatkan data primer melalui penyebaran instrumen kepada 130 mahasiswa. Proses terakhir adalah mengkaji hasil interpretasi responden melalui uji normalitas, uji korelasi uji-t, dan uji-f untuk pembuktian hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap variabel independen secara parsial maupun simultan berkorelasi, dan berhubungan kuat terhadap variabel dependen.
