Penelitian tentang perilaku keuangan menunjukkan bahwa Generasi Millennial lebih banyak menghabiskan uang untuk konsumsi daripada menabung dan investasi. Gaya hidup konsumtif tersebut disebabkan tuntutan gaya hidup dan rendahnya literasi keuangan di kalangan millennial. Lebih lanjut, maraknya perusahaan investasi yang menjanjikan kemudahan dan keuntungan yang besar dalam waktu singkat juga perlu diantisipasi guna mencegah kejahatan atau penipuan yang marak terjadi. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan pribadi. Secara spesifik, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan di kalangan millennial agar mereka dapat mengelola keuangan dengan baik. Disamping itu, kegiatan ini juga memberikan informasi mengenai berbagai instrumen keuangan yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh generasi millennial dengan mempertimbangkan keuntungan dan risiko dengan bijak. Sasaran kegiatan ini meliputi generasi millennial di Indonesia. Kegiatan dilakukan secara virtual melalui Live Instagram dan telah disaksikan oleh 580 orang.
The implementation of diversity management becomes a challenge for the company, primarily to employ those with physical disabilities. There is a stereotype in Indonesian society that those people are not able to work, especially in the formal sector due to their lack of competences that results in their low performance. Unfortunately, studies regarding the effect of competency towards employee performance of employees with disabilities have been very limited. This study aims at determining the influence of competency towards the performance of employees with disabilities in Thisable Enterprise. Data was conducted through a survey of 64 employees who are blind and deaf. Furthermore, the hypothesis test was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that employees with disabilities in Thisable Enterprise have good competencies, consisting of intellectual competence, emotional competence, and social competence. The results of self-assessment, customer assessment, and evaluations from supervisors also showed that employee with a disability was able to provide good performance. Finally, the positive influence of intellectual competencies on performance was confirmed.
One of the efforts to improve the competitive advantage in rapid technological developments, especially in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), is to maximize the potential of human resources. However, at this time human resources MSMEs’owners are not acceptable in digital competence and low ability to improve entrepreneurial orientation. The role of human resources consisting of digital competence and entrepreneurial orientation leads to the competitive advantages of micro, small and medium enterprises. The study used a quantitative approach, using multiple regression analyses to analyze a questionnaire sample of 180 micros, small, and medium enterprises manufacture of food products in Bandung City. Results showed digital competence and entrepreneurial orientation have positive effect on competitive advantage. Salah satu usaha untuk dapat meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing ditengah perkembangan teknologi yang pesat khususnya pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) adalah dengan memaksimalkan potensi dari sumber daya manusia yang dimilikinya. Namun begitu saat ini sumber daya manusia atau pelaku usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah kurang akseptabel dalam penguasaan kompetensi digital serta rendahnya kemampuan dalam meningkatkan sikap orientasi kewirausahaannya. Peranan sumber daya manusia yang terdiri dari kompetensi digital dan orientasi kewirausahaan ini mengarah kepada keunggulan bersaing usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk menganalisis sampel kuisioner sebanyak 180 pelaku UMKM industri pengolahan makanan di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kompetensi digital dan orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap keunggulan bersaing.
One of the efforts made by the government to reduce the unemployment rate in Indonesia is by conducting an overseas apprenticeship program. As an international assignment, this apprenticeship program leads to social problems such as stress. This research seeks to examine and analyze the influence of pre-departure training on acculturative stress with personal resources as a moderating variable. The respondents of this study were 215 migrant workers from West Java. This research used process analysis to analyze data. The result shows that there is a negative influence of pre-departure training on acculturative stress. Besides that, personal resources strengthen the influence of pre-departure training on acculturative stress. The higher a level of personal resources possessed, the more it will strengthen the influence of pre-departure training on acculturative stress. These findings support the statement that personal resources are one of the leading indicators that affect an individual's performance at work.JEL Classification: M53, J61How to Cite:Widayanti., & Sartika, D.
