Agribusiness is a business in the agricultural sector which consists of providing input, production, marketing, processing and supporting which are interrelated and many actors are involved. The research purpose was to determine the social economic aspect of agribusiness affected during the Covid-19 pandemic based on general pubic perception. This research was conducted in June-July 2020 by distributing questionnaires online from 18 June 2020 to 30 June 2020 using google form. Total respondents who filled in were 87 people. It’s consist of academics, practitioners, and the general public. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis with a Likert scale. The results showed that agribusiness during the Covid-19 pandemic was positively impacted with an average score of 114.6. Socioeconomic aspects that have been positively affected, among others local input is sought, local input prices increase, import inputs are limited, food demand, food production, and output prices increase, food availability becomes the focus, local production sought after, imported products decreased, various marketing patterns varied, online order services and delivery order increased, marketing was increasingly creative, demand for fresh food increased, demand for processed food and household processing industries increased, prices for processed food increasing, processing innovations are increasingly diverse, online financing transactions, massive information dissemination, extensive sharing of agricultural experiences, price information increasing, multi-stakeholder meetings increasing, changes in agricultural policy. The research implication is that the Covid-19 pandemic provides an important lesson for agribusiness that agricultural is an important sector and the ability of business units to adapt and innovate is needed.
Organic farming system is a system based on soil fertility as the key to the success of production by taking into account the natural ability of soil, plants and animal to produce good quality of agricultural and environmental products. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge level of lowland paddy farmers (Oryza sativa L.) to organic farming in Manunggal Jaya, Tenggarong Seberang. The research was conducted from May to July 2017. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with 37 respondens. The data collected in this research were primary data and secondary data. Methods of data collection was done by observation and direct interview with respondens. Data analysis using descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research indicate that knowledge level of lowland paddy farmers categorized as "high" in both beginner and advanced classes, but in the application phase of farmers was still difficult to apply. Then, for the beginner in the category of fertilization and control of pests categorized as "medium".
The success of farmers in rejuvenation is considered very important for the survival of farmers. Oil palm smallholders are expected to be able to make decisions on rejuvenating their oil palm plantations in time to improve yields and increase farmers' income in the future. The general objectives of this research are to find out (1) how farmers make smallholder decisions in the oil palm rejuvenation program; (2) the factors that influence farmers' decision making in the oil palm rejuvenation program in Long Ikis District, Paser Regency. This research was conducted in Long Ikis District, Paser Regency. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis method using Likert attitude scale measurement. The data are tabulated and interpreted qualitatively with categories. This research is expected to provide information for farmers in making decisions for oil palm rejuvenation programs in order to increase the productivity of oil palm plantations. The things that farmers consider in making decisions about replanting are from the agronomic, economic and social aspects. Of the 6 factors that influence farmers' decisions to replant (land area, plant height, farming experience, income, government assistance and capital) the most influential factors in making oil palm replanting decisions are land area, plant height, capital and government assistance.
The success of upland rice farming in increasing farmers' income requires high participation in farming management in order to provide optimal results. The purposes of this study were to determine the socio-economic characteristics of farmers, to analyze farming, to determine farmer participation, and to analyze the factors that determine the participation of Dayak Kenyah farmers in upland rice farming. This research was conducted in Long Anai and Sungai Bawang Villages, Kutai Kartanegara District. The characteristics of upland rice farming of the Dayak Kenyah tribe in terms of gender, age, education level, number of family dependents, land area, and income. Upland rice farmers of Dayak Kenyah tribe still apply cultural customs in most stages of upland rice farming. The level of community participation was high and is at the partnership stage. The factors that determine the participation of Dayak Kenyah tribe farmers in upland rice farming are culture, ideas, labor, working time, and farming capital.
The agricultural program given to sustainable farmer women's groups is a form of empowering women in the Sukorejo Lempake environment, this empowerment obliges participation, creativity, and initiative at activities carried out by sustainable farmer women's groups and is expected to have a better influence. The purpose of this research was to know the form of empowerment, the level of participation, and the influence obtained by sustainable farmer women's groups.This research was to be conducted from July to September 2020. The location of research has been determined purposive, namely in the environment of Sukorejo, Lempake Village, North Samarinda District, Samarinda City. The sampling method used was purposive sampling and was carried out by means of a census. The respondents in this research amount to 20 people, the method of analysis used is a descriptive qualitative method and the descriptive method uses a Likert scale.The results of this research showed that the program empowerment is given to sustainable farmer women's groups, namely training programs and processing practices in horticultural product agricultural, farm extension programs, entrepreneurship training, and participation in processed product exhibitions.The rate participation members of the Lestari farmer women's group the indicator of routine monthly meetings included high category with an average score of 10.78, the meetings indicator/extension agricultural were in the high category with an average score of 13.10, and the indicators training program were in the high category with an average score of 15.73. Overall with an average score of 39.61, it was in the high category.The influence on the sustainable farming women’s group in implementing agricultural extension program provided includes to income of the women farmer group, the role in the women’s farmer group, participation in the women’s farmer group, the knowledge and insight before and after joining the Lestari farmer women’s group was able to give a more good impact.The conclusions of this research showed that the participation of the sustainable farmer women’s group with an average score of 39.61 was in the high category and the influence obtained by the Lestari farmer women's group on the extension program seen from before and after joining with a sustainable farmer women’s group was able to have an influence towards better.
