Latar belakang: Masa pubertas adalah terjadinya perubahan biologis yang meliputi morfologi dan fisiologi yang terjadi dengan pesat dari masa anak kemasa dewasa, terutama kapasitas reproduksi yaitu perubahan alat kelamin dari tahap anak kedewasa. berdasarkan persentase terkecil aspek fisik pada perilaku remaja mengenai keadaan fisik diperoleh 48,4%. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan, penilaian serta pengharapan yang belum baik tentang perubahan fisik. Hasil penelitian lain menunjukkan Remaja pada masa pubertas memiliki penerimaan yang positif terhadap perubahan fisik, yaitu sebanyak 78,63% dan penerimaan negatif terhadap perubahan fisik, yaitu sebanyak 21,37%. Tujuan penelitian : ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku remaja dalam hal perubahan fisiologis pada masa pubertas di SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah Medan Tahun 2013. Metodologi : Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 173 orang dengan tehnik pengambilan sampel adalah secara proporsi bertingkat (proportional stratified sampling) dan acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April 2013. Hasil : Hasil penelitian diperoleh pengetahuan remaja berpengetahuan baik sebanyak 134 orang (77,5 %), berpengetahuan cukup sebanyak 36 orang (20,8 %), dan berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 3 orang (1,7 %), sikap remaja mayoritas memiliki sikap positif sebanyak 162 orang (93,6 %) dan minoritas memiliki sikap negatif sebanyak 11 orang (6,4 %), tindakan remaja diperoleh tindakan baik sebanyak 157 orang ( 90,8 %) dan tindakan kurang sebanyak 16 orang ( 9,2 %). Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa perilaku remaja awal dalam hal perubahan fisiologis di SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah Medan Tahun 2013 baik.
Remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari masa kanak-kanak menuju dewasa. Salah satu organ yang berkembang pada remaja khususnya wanita adalah payudara. Pemeriksaan payudara sendiri merupakan salah satu langkah awal deteksi dini untuk menemukan kanker payudara stadium awal yang akan lebih efektif jika dilakukan sedini mungkin, sebab 85% kelainan payudara justru pertama kali dikenali oleh penderita. Tujuan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) adalah untuk mengetahui adanya kelainan pada payudara sejak dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan tindakan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) pada remaja putri di SMK Negeri 07 Medan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini jumlah populasi adalah seluruh siswi kelas X jurusan administrasi di SMK Negeri 07 Medan sebanyak 204 orang dan yang menjadi sampel yaitu sebanyak 40 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mencari proporsi pada tindakan dan pengetahuan tentang pemeriksaan payudara sendiri pada remaja putri. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada 40 orang responden diperoleh ada 22 orang (55%) responden yang mengetahui tentang pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) dengan kategori cukup dan ada 27 orang (67,5%) responden yang melakukan tindakan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri dengan kategori kurang baik. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut maka diharapkan pihak sekolah, siswi, dan petugas kesehatan sekitar dapat berperan aktif dalam memberikan informasi mengenai pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI).
Reproduksi remaja yang sehat bukan hanya bebas dari penyakit atau kecacatan, namun juga sehat secara mental. Angka kejadian kehamilan diluar nikah meningkat ditandai dengan meningkatnya kasus aborsi yang diperkirakan setiap tahun ada 2,3 juta kasus aborsi, yang 20 persen diantaranya dilakukan remaja, berdasarkan penelitian Perkumpulan Kelurga Berencana Indonesia (PKBI), sebanyak 27 persen permintaan aborsi tidak aman dilakukan remaja. Sementara itu, menurut Muadz, 2007 penularan penyakit kelamin seperti HIV/AIDS tercatat sampai bulan Maret 2007 terdapat 8.988 kasus AIDS dan 5.640 kasus HIV positif. Dari delapan ribu atau 57, 1 persen kasus HIV/AIDS terjadi pada remaja antar 15-29 tahun. Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang reproduksi sehat kepada remaja dapat membentuk sikap dan tingkah laku yang tidak bertanggung jawab mengenai proses reproduksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tindakan reproduksi sehat pada remaja di SMA N I Sunggal Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Manfaat penelitian ini agar remaja tahu bagaimana tindakan reproduksi sehat. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan desain Cross Sectional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner tentang tindakan reproduksi sehat yang diberikan kepada lebih kurang 134 orang siswa kelas tiga IPA SMA N I Sunggal Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Penelitian mulai dari tanggal 22 Agustus 2015. Selanjutnya data diolah dengan menggunakan sistem komputerisasi dengan tingkat signifikansi 95% (0,05). Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa ada 32 orang (58,2%) siswa laki laki dan 48 orang (60,76%) siswa perempuan yang mempunyai tindakan reproduksi yang baik. Saran Perawat agar lebih aktif memberikan informasi mengenai tindakan reproduksi sehat melalui pemberian penyuluhan tindakan reproduksi sehat kepada remaja dengan menggunakan leaflet atau pun konseling kesehatan reproduksi dan pengelola SMA N I Sunggal Kabupaten Deli Serdang lebih meningkatkan kegiatan UKS agar informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi tersampaikan dengan baik dan benar dengan tujuan agar siswa mampu melakukan tindakan reproduksi sehat.
