Fast 7 Jahre sind vergangen: als ieh in ~Leipzig im Juli 1911 in der Cuesellsehaft for Gyn~tkologie einen Vortrag fiber Eklampsie hielt: Ieh trug damals mein% inzwisehen im Arehiv for Gyn~-kologie,,B d. 967 ver6ffentliehten Tierexperimente vor: 7~Ueber die /itiologisehe Bedeutung des Fibrinferments und Fibrinogens for die Sehwangers~haftsniere und die Eklampsie "~. l)abei setzte ieh -auseinander~ wie die Wiener Forseher Dr. Grigoriu, M. Christea ~nd Dr. Bianea Bienenfeld und ebenso NOster (Breslau) nut Jnfolge einer liiekenhaften, unzureiehenden Versuehsanordnung mit tier sonst an ur~d fiir sieh gut brauehbaren Wohlgemuth'sehen Methode zur quantitativen Fibrinogenuntersuehung im Blutplasma ,zu der irrigen Sehlussfolgerung gelangen konnten, dass in dem yon ihnen untersuehten Eklampsieblut in keinem Falle eine Vermehrung ides Fibrinogens vorhanden gewesen sei. Ieh selbst hatte his dahin meine zu dieser Zeit noeh nieht abgesehlossenen Untcrsuehungen fiber dos Fibrinogen bei der Eklampsie at~eh noeh nieht ver6ffentlieht. Ers~ bei Gelegenheit der Diskussion fiber meinen Vortrag beriehtete ieh kurz tiber 7 F~tlle yon Eklampsi% bei denen ieh d~s Pibrinogen ,im Plasma quantitativ nach der Kj cldahl'schen Methode der Stiekstoffbestimfnung bestimmt und vermehrt gefunden hatte. Bisher war ieh .ZU der yon mir supponierten and aueh bereits mehrfaeh in der Literatur yon mir ausgesproehenen Ansieht, dass eine Fibrinogen~vermehrung bei der Eklampsie stattfinden mfisse, dureh die Untersueh.ungsergebnisse yon Lewinski gelangt. Dieser Autor trot auf meine Anregung bin in einer Inaugural-Dissertation im Jahre 1899 gus der Breslauer Frauenklinjk und, dem physiologiseh-ohemisehen ~Institut tier Universitgt Breslau der uns hier beseh~tftigenden Frage
