This paper proposes a general-purpose radar simulation tool based on the path tracer Cycles used in Blender, an open-source 3D computer graphics software. The scenarios, object's geometry, and materials can be defined within Blender. The propagation of waves in the scenery is simulated by the Cycles renderer, so that a second computational tool, such as Matlab or Octave, can be used for reconstructing the received signal. A simulated experiment using the proposed tool is presented. The results indicate that the tool has a great potential to be used in a variety of radar applications, including cross-section measurement, simulated radar data generation, and simulated synthetic aperture radar imaging.
With this, we seek a relationship between the ludic and the brands, enabling new immersive and collaborative ideas in branding processes. It is understood that in a global market, models, tools, design processes, can corroborate for a strengthening of brands and games have an important role in this context. The article makes a theoretical and bibliographical approach, being part of the doctoral research of this author, pointing to the game as a playful experience, its characteristics and mechanics, using as reference authors such as Huizinga (2005), McGonigal (2012) and Salen and Zimmerman ). In this final character, the article presents practical applications of collaborative models within a research of references as much of market, as bibliographical. The games presented represent a cut in the strategic and creative possibilities that designers, brand managers and other researchers can use in a more immersive and engaging management practice. Combining the research, also pres...
