Universidad EAFIT (Colombia)Resumen: El presente artículo asume el estudio del fenómeno transmedia como un conjunto de relaciones intertextuales que involucra no sólo condiciones narrativas, sino también antropológicas, con dos objetivos: primero, el de estructurar un sistema intertextual que sirva de herramienta para el análisis de productos transmedia propios de la industria cultural; y segundo, el de generar claves posibles de ser usadas como estrategia pedagógica en el aula de clases para motivar la lectura y escritura en conjunto con otros sistemas simbólicos. Así, el artículo introduce al lector en el fenómeno de la transmedialidad, el cual es posteriormente revisado a partir de las propuestas de Henry Jenkins y Marsha Kinder que nos sirven como material para la elaboración de un Sistema Intertextual Transmedial, el cual se aplica como metodología para el análisis de un caso de la industria del entretenimiento, The Walking Dead®.
El artículo presenta un modelo de Sistema transmedial aplicable dentro del aula de clase en áreas afines a la enseñanza de la literatura. El texto hace referencia a la noción de Sistema Intertextual Transmedia- SIT-, el cual funciona como una matriz que permite la integración de diferentes historias y sus respectivos medios, acompañada de conceptos propios de la semiótica y la narrativa, los cuales sirven como categorías clave al servicio de la expansión de los mundos ficcionales. A manera de resultados, se presenta un ejemplo de expansión narrativa que permitió incentivar la lectura y la creación de nuevas historias en distintos formatos. En conclusiones se destacan los logros de la estrategia y se abren perspectivas para continuar la investigación en la consolidación de modelos aplicables a escenarios escolares mediados por TIC. El artículo es producto del proceso de sistematización del Plan Digital TESO, que por sus siglas significa “Transformamos la Educación para crear Sueños y Oportunidades, proyecto “Forjando el Futuro de la Educación en Colombia” financiado por la agencia canadiense IDRC y desarrollado por la Universidad EAFIT.
