No presente trabalho sugerimos que o pensamento sobre jogos enquanto dispositivos capazes de acionar afetos. Para tanto, analisaremos dois jogos de caráter autobiográfico baseados em experiências de viagem. Os casos em questão conjugam uma íntima relação entre a memória, a abstração e a tentativa de apreensão da realidade através do relato. De forma mais específica, desejamos observar a configuração de experiências estéticas como forma de produção de sentido em jogos digitais, dedicando especial atenção às relações entre as afecções do corpo em relação à configuração de uma experiência de caráter político e estético no jogo.
Lançando mão da hermenêutica em Ricoeur (2010;2012), o presente artigo investiga a hipótese de que o território Palestino como corpo político (SAFATLE, 2015), encontra fundamento na dimensão simbólica da palavra narrada. Com apoio do método indiciário (GIZBURG, 1989), desejamos construir esta hipótese através do rastreamento de relatos que compõem uma espécie de narrativa polifônica sobre a questão Palestina. Entre os textos estão os poemas de Mahmoud Darwish, o romance memorialístico de Sahar Hamouda, reportagens de Joe Sacco e o game Undersiege. Como operador central, a narrativa, vetor capaz de catalisar o luto em potência política. À guisa de conclusão, defendemos que a identidade palestina se organiza a partir de um mosaico de vozes a partir do exílio da memória.
Este artigo aborda a memória visual brasileira a partir da obra dos artistas e pesquisadores Rosana Paulino e Elian Almeida. De forma mais específica, discuto as estratégias adotadas pelos artistas para revisitar a representação dos corpos negros em fabulações críticas que contribuem para reconfigurar os modos de ver a/na cultura brasileira. Sob um ponto de vista conceitual, o artigo discute questões como o papel do arquivo, colonialidade e cultura visual. A partir da noção de rasura no trabalho de Leda Martins, propõe a noção de rasura como um dispositivo teórico para o pensamento sobre a memória visual brasileira. Espera-se assim, contribuir com uma categoria conceitual que permita enxergar as frestas e rasuras da visualidade no Sul Global.
Este artigo parte dos vestígios de uma escrava africana enterrada na região portuária do Rio de Janeiro e do filme “Era o Hotel Cambridge” (Brasil, 2016), sobre uma ocupação no centro de São Paulo, com o objetivo de discutir como a imagem configura um corpo a partir de situações liminares. A proposta é observar a emergência intermitente das imagens e daquilo que é relegado à posição de resto, rastro, e vestígio na estrutura do poder colonial. Dos ossos humanos, que clamam um acerto com um passado escravagista, ao esqueleto de um edifício abandonado pela especulação e reinventado como corpo político por refugiados e sem-tetos brasileiros, a imagem é a instância que conduz as demandas políticas no tempo. É a insistência de uma memória marginalizada, violentada, mas que recusa o apagamento. Como gesto de criação, persistência e (r)existência, a imagem nos serve como instrumento analítico para pensar contextos pós-coloniais e suas sobrevivências.
