O presente artigo discute as representações de gênero e sexualidade na série animada She-ra and The Princesses of Power (2018-2020). Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa descritiva e exploratória com fãs do desenho de todo o mundo. A partir de conceitos como dispositivo pedagógico da mídia, gênero, sexualidade e representação, além dos pressupostos metodológicos da Análise de Conteúdo (Bardin, 2011), foi possível compreender o papel da série como instrumento pedagógico capaz de desencadear processos de subjetivação em sua audiência. A análise chegou a três categorias de comentários: conhecimento de si; afirmação de si; legitimação do outro. Narrativas audiovisuais podem legitimar, reiterar e naturalizar comportamentos, práticas e identidades, na maioria das vezes, invisibilizando minorias. She-Ra propõe representações de gênero e sexualidade que subvertem as lógicas heteronormativas e, para os fãs, é isso que faz do desenho tão importante, contribuindo para o entendimento e a legitimação de quem são, além de ensinar novas pedagogias, na contramão do discurso hegemônico ainda disseminado pela mídia.
O jornalismo móvel e hiperlocal se fortalece diante da cultura da convergência, que possibilita a pluralidade de produção de notícias locais a partir do estímulo à participação com a produção de conteúdos pelos usuários. O público não apenas sugere temas, mas atua como repórter-amador, abalando o próprio campo do jornalismo ao usar as plataformas on-line para construção das notícias. Este artigo problematiza como o PorAqui constitui uma experiência de jornalismo móvel, hiperlocal e colaborativo. Para isso, a pesquisa realiza uma revisão bibliográfica dos conceitos-chave da proposta, como convergência, cultura participativa e jornalismo hiperlocal e desenvolve um estudo de caso com uma análise do aplicativo para smartphones PorAqui. Por fim, mostra-se como esse fenômeno sinaliza para a renovação do mercado de trabalho tanto para os grandes veículos da imprensa quanto para os jornalistas que atuam fora dos conglomerados de comunicação.
