La falta de proyectos que se enfoquen en lograr que las personas con discapacidad se integren al mundo laboral es mínima, especialmente en aquellas que tienen Síndrome de Down moderado de tal manera que se propuso la implementación de talleres prelaborales dentro de las empresas y centros terapéuticos. Por estas razones es que el objetivo general del proyecto de investigación consistió en determinar qué actividades prelaborales son adecuadas para usuarios con Síndrome de Down para la inserción laboral. Teniendo como objetivos específicos evaluar las habilidades, destrezas e información que los usuarios con Síndrome de Down asumen, indicar campos laborales apropiados para la inserción laboral de estos usuarios con Síndrome de Down Intelectual Moderado, proponer talleres de habilidades laborales a empresas y centros terapéuticos para dichos usuarios. Fue pertinente utilizar una investigación descriptiva mediante el tamaño de muestra y precisión para estimación de una media poblacional con síndrome de Down, así mismo se realizó encuesta y evaluaciones con el fin de determinar si los usuarios con síndrome de Down tenían información, destreza y habilidades en actividades prelaborales, para análisis del mismo se utilizó el tamaño de muestra y precisión para estimar esta proporción. Una vez realizado el proceso de investigación se llega a la conclusión que hay una gran parte de personas con síndrome de Down que no poseen una destreza, habilidad ni una información adecuada de talleres o actividades prelaborales, ultimando que la propuesta fue adecuada para los usuarios con síndrome de Down alcanzando un alto grado en los talleres.
