Este artigo se propõe a investigar como crianças se sentem impactadas diante do contexto pandêmico a partir de suas falas, desejos e posicionamentos. Para isso, apresenta expressões das crianças e outros dados produzidos, a partir de uma consulta on-line realizada com crianças de diferentes regiões do Distrito Federal. O desenvolvimento teórico da investigação se dá dentro de referenciais que compreendem a criança enquanto sujeito social, histórico e político. A pesquisa mostra um panorama da experiência de crianças em diferentes contextos de confinamento. Por fim, o artigo busca estimular outras pesquisas sobre os reflexos causados pela pandemia de coronavírus na rotina de crianças, apontando a necessidade de uma escuta sensível dessas crianças, não só por demonstrarem inseguranças e medos frente a esse panorama, mas por serem agentes protagonistas desse cenário, que possuem desejos, sonhos e preocupações com o futuro do território em que vivem.
