discolor) merupakan tanaman yang memiliki tingkat adaptasi yang baik pada berbagai kondisi lingkungan. Kemampuan tersebut diduga karena adanya asosiasi mutualistik dengan bakteri endofit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengisolasi bakteri endofit dari akar tanaman Adam Hawa dan menguji potensinya sebagai agens hayati dan pemacu pertumbuhan tanaman. Isolasi bakteri endofit dilakukan dengan tahapan metode sterilisasi permukaan sampel akar, penggerusan, pengenceran, dan penanaman pada medium tryptone soya agar (TSA). Sebanyak 21 isolat bakteri endofit berhasil diisolasi dari akar tanaman Adam Hawa. Berdasarkan uji hipersensitif pada daun tanaman tembakau, sebanyak 19 isolat menunjukkan reaksi negatif (tidak terbentuk gejala nekrosis) dan hanya 2 isolat menunjukkan reaksi positif (terdapat gejala nekrosis). Hasil uji terhadap aktivitas biokontrol dan pemacu pertumbuhan tanaman padi menunjukkan 7 isolat bakteri endofit mampu menghambat pertumbuhan Fusarium oxysporum secara in vitro dan 12 isolat mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit padi.
Kabupaten Cianjur merupakan salah satu sentra produksi tomat di Jawa Barat. Pada tahun 2011-2012 luas lahan tomat di Jawa Barat meningkat 6,31%, namun produksi menurun 17,14%. Survei ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman dan kelimpahan nematoda pada tanaman tomat serta pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman tomat. Contoh tanah diambil dari dua petak lahan yang diperlakukan dengan sistem tanam monokultur dan polikultur. Survei dilaksanakan di Desa Pasir Kampung Kabupaten Cianjur - Jawa Barat, dan analisis di Laboratorium Nematologi Departemen Proteksi Tanaman IPB. Setiap petak tanah diambil 10 contoh tanah. Variabel yang diamati pada survei adalah: genus nematoda, kerapatan dan penyebaran nematoda, frekuensi penyebaran nematoda, nilai dominansi nematoda serta pengaruh kerapatan nematoda parasit tanaman terhadap pertumbuhan akar dan tinggi tanaman tomat. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa pada setiap contoh tanah mengandung nematoda parasit. Terdapat tujuh genus nematoda parasit pada kedua lahan, yaitu Meloidogyne spp., Pratylenchus sp., Rotylenchus sp., Ditylenchus sp., Helicotylenchus sp., Hoplolaimus sp., dan Xiphinema sp. Nematoda dari genus Meloidogyne spp. memiliki kerapatan tertinggi dibandingkan dengan nematoda lain. Pada lahan monokultur penyebaran Meloidogyne spp., Pratylenchus sp., Rotylenchus sp., Ditylenchus sp. mencapai 100%, sedangkan pada lahan polikultur nematoda yang memiliki penyebaran hingga 100% adalah Meloidogyne spp., Pratylenchus sp., Rotylenchus sp. Kerapatan tujuh nematoda tersebut memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkat kerusakan akar dan tinggi tanaman tomat. Semakin melimpah jumlah nematoda parasit tanaman, tingkat kerusakan akar semakin tinggi. Semakin rendah jumlah nematoda parasit tanaman, tanaman tomat berkembang lebih tinggi.
This research was carried out aimed at describing the factors causing the low learning outcomes of students during online learning using the application WhatsApp on science subjects. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a type of case study. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The object studied was 3 students, class teachers, and triangulation of data on school principals, school operators (TU), and students' parents. The results of the research conclusions indicated that: (1) students were less interested in participating in online learning in science subjects. (2) Students do not like science subjects online. (3) the teacher only uses the WhatsApp application to carry out online learning. (4) the teacher only notifies and sends the material to be studied without being explained first. (5) the teacher always gives assignments to students so that it makes students dislike online learning. (6) the students are less motivated to take part in learning.
Cats are one of the many pets kept in Indonesia. Dipylidiasis is a disease that often occurs in cats caused by infection with the Cestode worm Dipylidium caninum. The case study at the Rvet Bogor clinic aimed to find out Dipylidiosis cases as well as its diagnostic and treatment techniques. Medical record data for September 2020 to September 2021 showed fluctuations in Dipylidiosis cases in 35 cat patients at the Rvet Bogor clinic. The highest infection of Dipylidium caninum in cats occurred during the rainy season from November 2020 to March 2021. The lowest disease of D. caninum in cats happened in the dry season in August 2021 and September 2021. The patient is a cat named Nuna with a lethargy condition and of soft stools and a there is a gravid proglottid on her perianal. Groups of D.caninum eggs were seen around the gravid proglottids found in the perianal area of Nuna cat patients. Drontal® anthelmintic was given to cats infected with D. caninum at the Rvet Bogor clinic.
