Abtract. This study aims to improve the activity and student learning outcomes in mathematics in calculating the volume of a cube by using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model assisted by concrete media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were 5th grade students of Muhammadiyah Pahandut Palangka Raya Elementary School, totaling 19 people. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The main results of this study indicate that the learning activities of students when learning mathematics material calculates the volume of the cube using the RME model assisted by concrete media shows the final test results of cycle 1 with 73.68% and the final test results in cycle 2 to 100% and are in very good criteria. It is proven that by using the RME model which is assisted by concrete media can increase student mathematics learning activities and outcomes.
Eastern culture-based art education is an effort to strengthen and build national identity through the transfer of knowledge and the transfer of value in the values of diversity and cultural preservation. The purpose of this study is to provide a conceptual picture of strengthening national identity through learning art education based on eastern culture. The method used is qualitative research by examining science theoretically through literature study, documentation, video, and audio study approaches that are analyzed descriptively. The results showed that some of the eastern cultural arts which are full of messages, moral values, and philosophy of life as a foundation for strengthening and building national identity through art education based on eastern culture are the arts of go laba, Ja’i, and reba traditional rituals. The art is a tradition of the people of Ngada, Flores, NTT which is used as an accompanying event in traditional rituals such as the ritual of making a new traditional house, the ritual of making customary symbols (ngadhu-bhaga), and the ritual of pesat kampung (ka nua). While, the conceptualization picture of strengthening the national identity through learning art education based on eastern culture can be done by; First, the stages of classification by selecting various kinds of art genres (music, dance, theater, visual) Eastern culture, to find meaning and values embodied in local wisdom. Second, the identification stage by identifying the learning of arts-based on eastern culture in the form of text and context into the realm of affective, cognitive, psychomotor, and creative. Third, the implementation stage by applying the results of classifying and identifying eastern culture-based art learning to be applied to students so they can understand the values contained in local culture and have cultural intelligence.

The ability of Indonesian students to master physics is still low. Based on PISA in 2018, Indonesia ranked at 62th out of 72 participating countries. It was much lower than other Asian countries. Therefore, this problem should be overcome. One of the existing sources of physics literacy is local wisdom. The local wisdom can be used as a direct source of physics studies for students to increase their literacy skills. Therefore, in this paper, the authors discussed some local wisdoms in South Sumatra Province that potentially used as physics literacy objects for students in their school. South Sumatra has many local wisdoms potentially used as real objects in physics studies for students. Some of the local wisdom as otok-otok boat and roasted kemplang can be used as the object of heat transfer studies (thermal), and the traditional houses of Limas and Baghi can be used as media for learning force, mass, load and modulus of elasticity. The objects of literacy studies are sources of study that can be used by teachers in teaching physics. Through local wisdom-based literacy, it is certainly expected to improve Indonesia's PISA ranking. Not only to improve PISA ranking, but it is also increase the superiority of the nation's future generations.

Glundeng is a traditional art originating from Bondowoso Regency, East Java. The local people call it wood Gamelan because at first glance the shape of the instrument is almost like Javanese Gamelan Ageng. Glundeng staging in the totta'an dhereh tradition is held by the local community as a form of gratitude to God Almighty for the abundance of fortune given to the farmers. The purpose of this research is to find out how the form of the Glundeng Gamelan performance in the totta'an dhereh tradition in Bondowoso. The research paradigm uses a qualitative, descriptive analysis method. Data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that Glundeng's performance was a form of folk art performance as a means of entertainment. Glundeng music performances are held routinely once a year in November. In presenting Glundeng music there are no special rituals or readings when going to play Glundeng.
