Digital images can be easily copied or manipulated by irresponsible persons. The right property needs to be secured and protected from illegal copies and piracy. Digital watermarking is one of the solutions to protect the intellectual property of digital images. This paper proposed the adaptive scaling factor based on selected DWT-DCT coefficients of its image content. The adaptive scaling factor was generated based on the role of selected DWT-DCT coefficients against the average value of DWT-DCT coefficients. The watermark image was embedded by using a proposed set of rules that consider the adaptive scaling factor. The experimental results showed that the proposed scheme achieved high PSNR value of 47dB, SSIM value of about 0.987 and an embedded watermark resistance to several attacks in the watermarked image. With the era of rapid technology in multimedia, the copyright protection is very important to preserve an ownership of multimedia data. This paper proposes an image watermarking scheme based on Integer Wavelet Transform (IWT) and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). The binary watermark is scrambled by Arnold transform before embedding watermark. Embedding locations are determined by using variance pixels. Selected blocks with the lowest variance pixels are transformed by IWT, thus the LL sub-band of 8×8 IWT is computed by using SVD. The orthogonal U matrix component of U3,1 and U4,1 are modified using certain rules by considering the watermark bits and an optimal threshold. This research reveals an optimal threshold value based on the trade-off between robustness and imperceptibility of watermarked image. In order to measure the watermarking performance, the proposed scheme is tested under various attacks. The experimental results indicate that our scheme achieves higher robustness than other scheme under different types of attack.
Dynamic learning environment has emerged as a powerful platform in a modern e-learning system. The learning situation that constantly changing has forced the learning platform to adapt and personalize its learning resources for students. Evidence suggested that adaptation and personalization of e-learning systems (APLS) can be achieved by utilizing learner modeling, domain modeling, and instructional modeling. In the literature of APLS, questions have been raised about the role of individual characteristics that are relevant for adaptation. With several options, a new problem has been raised where the attributes of students in APLS often overlap and are not related between studies. Therefore, this study proposed a list of learner model attributes in dynamic learning to support adaptation and personalization. The study was conducted by exploring concepts from the literature selected based on the best criteria. Then, we described the results of important concepts in student modeling and provided definitions and examples of data values that researchers have used. Besides, we also discussed the implementation of the selected learner model in providing adaptation in dynamic learning.
Lembaga Pelatihan ELTIBIZ merupakan salah satu lembaga pelatihan yang bergerak dalam bidang pendidikan nonformal yang telah menggunakan sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi agar kinerja organisasi menjadi lebih efektif, efisien dan meningkatkan daya saing. Strategi SI/TI sangat diperlukan untuk memudahkan pengelolaan informasi oleh organisasi dalam memenangkan persaingan dengan kompetitor. Pada penelitian ini perencanaan strategis SI/TI menggunakan metode Ward and Peppard dimulai dari proses analisis kondisi lingkungan bisnis eksternal dan internal, serta lingkungan SI/TI eksternal dan internal. Proses analisis menggunakan teknik analisis SWOT, analisis Value Chain, analisis Five Force Porter, analisis tren teknologi dan matriks Mcfarlan's Strategic Grid.
Rencana strategis SI/TI yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi strategi SI berupa portofolio aplikasi mendatang yang dapat menunjang proses bisnis, strategi manajemen SI/TI berupa usulan pembuatan aplikasi sistem yang direncanakan. Rencana strategi SI/TI dituangkan ke dalam bentuk roadmap pengembangan sistem informasi sebagai bahan acuan implementasi bagi Lembaga Pelatihan ELTIBIZ di masa mendatang yang rencana implementasinya akan dilakukan dalam kurun waktu 5 (lima) tahun yang akan datang.
