Proton exchange membrane fuel cell is essentially utilized to generate energy with zero emission. There are many drawbacks in PEMFC, such as the mal-distribution of reactants, water management between the catalyst layer and the GDL, and the mass transport issue of reactants. Flow field design parameters can overcome these problems to improve cell performance. Where the flow field is an essential element of the fuel cell, and it is designed to provide the required amount of both hydrogen and oxygen with the lowest possible pressure drop on the anode and cathode sides, respectively. In this paper, the cell performance with different flow field design parameters, such as conventional flow field configuration, nature-inspired flow field configuration, and geometric parameters, as well as their modifications, is reviewed in detail. It has been demonstrated through the current review paper that the flow field design parameters can significantly affect the overall behavior of PEMFC, and each design parameter has advantages and disadvantages that make the flow fields suitable for specific applications.

The objectives of the experimental investigation, to survey existing parking system and select suitable lift mechanism when design components of lift. In the present research, the main concern is to study the efficient use of solar energy in vertical rotary car parking system and choose the optimal car parking with minimal available area. Present design depends on chain and sprocket mechanism for leading the parking prototype and motor for powering the system working with solar photovoltaic (PV). In this work, the prototype is tested and done analysing to promote the parking land at tricky places and convoluted trade places. The possibility of implementing the project inside Iraq is possible, relying on young Iraqi cadres. The model was programmed on a miniature rotary vertical position. The cost of implementing this project in Iraq is the most appropriate cost compared to neighbouring countries. This is in order to ensure the success of the project as a modern style of new technology to serve the citizens and add a civilized touch to the cities.

The present work deals with a concentrating solar system (central receiver tower) to produce hot water and steam from solar energy. Hot water is used in a feed water heater for South Baghdad Electrical Steam Power Plant. The central receiver system consists of 150 mirrors fixed upon 75 tracking heliostats that arrangement to focus the solar radiation on central receiver tank. The piping systems were used to carry the hot water from central receiver tank. In this project, the dimension of central receiver cylindrical tank was 0.5m diameter and 1m height filled with 157 liter of water. The experimental work was done in one year period from June 2015 to May 2016. Examining the phase of the outlet working fluid (water) from the tank showed that it is steam in (July and August) and hot water during the rest of the year. Result showed that the maximum contribution (f-factor) is 1.86% and the average contribution during the whole year is 1.03%. Result also showed that the increase in average tank temperature during each month has the same trend. The temperatures have the higher values during summer season (June -August) and lower values during winter season (December -February). The theoretical calculations showed that the temperature of receiver tank is proportional to the number of heliostats. The comparison between experimental and theoretical results showed good agreement and can be used as an initial estimate tool in the design of central receiver system. Space with a font size 6
