Failure of exclusive breastfeeding has become a significant issue in Indonesia. There are several factors lead to such issue occurred. This cross-sectional analytical survey study aimed to investigate the relationship of mother's knowledge, mother's education and mother's job to unsuccessful exclusive breastfeeding. There were 31 mothers with infants aged 0-24 months participated in this study. Data were collected by employing closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed by applying chi-square test. The results revealed that knowledge, maternal education and maternal job associated with unsuccessful breastfeeding (p 0.05). The failure of exclusive breastfeeding were influenced by mothers’ knowledge, mothers’ education and mothers’ occupation.
In Indonesia, the use of long-term contraceptive methods tends to decrease in 2018. One factor in the high high-risk pregnancy at the Kebaman Health Center, Banyuwangi is the increase in distance between children <2 years by 18.52% (2020). Postpartum mothers who are given counseling on family planning using the decision making tool will choose to use contraception tools according to their choices and needs. This study aims to determine the effect of family planning counseling on contraceptive decision making in postpartum mothers. The research method is pre-experimental with a posttest only approach with control group design. The study was conducted in the working area of the Kebaman Health Center from December 2021 to January 2022 with a population of 34 postpartum mothers. Sampling used a total sampling technique of 34 respondents and divided into two groups, namely 17 respondents who received family planning counseling and 17 respondents who did not receive family planning counseling (control group). The analysis of this study used the Chi-square test. All research procedures have gone through an ethical clearance process. The results showed that 88.2% of postpartum mothers who received family planning counseling chose to use contraception and 76.5% of postpartum mothers who did not receive family planning counseling chose not to use contraceptives. The results of data analysis stated that there was an effect of family planning counseling on contraceptive decision making in postpartum mothers (p=0.000). The conclusion of this study is that family planning counseling is an important process in making contraceptive decisions. Health workers, especially midwives, are expected to always provide family planning counseling on time by using the ABPK flipchart.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PDAM Tirta Jeneberang Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif, sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Populasi dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 42 orang karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan statistik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan sebelumnya, maka diperoleh nilai regresi yakni Y = 10,4 + 0,78x korelasi sebesar 0,49 koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,2401 dan melalui perhitungan uji t-hitung dilihat bahwa t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yakni 3,55 > 1,684. Maka benar kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PDAM Tirta Jeneberang Kabupaten Gowa, dengan demikian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima.
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune and prominent inflammatory disorder that can affect wide of variety body systems, mainly joints. In Indonesia, the prevalence of RA is about 7.3% and mostly are women. The majority of women with RA are at childbearing and can be worsening throughout pregnancy and lactation. Conventional synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (csDMARDs) are the most common used medicine in RA for pregnancy and lactation. This scoping review was conducted using publications obtained from PubMed, Embase, The Cochrane Library, POPLINE, and Google Scholar concerning the safety of csDMARD in rheumatoid arthritis during pregnancy and lactation from 2011 to 2021. Among csDMARDs reviewed, sulfasalazine, hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine, and cyclosporine are relatively safe for pregnant and lactating women. However, they should be used in caution by considering the risk and benefit as well as under clinical supervision.
